99-02 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO FRONT MUD GUARD
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Please read instructions thoroughly before installation.
Tools Required:
Center punch / Hammer
Short Phillips screwdriver
NOTE: Turn the front wheels all the way to the left or right for mud guard installation. However, it may be necessary to remove the wheels depending on the tools being used for installation.
1. Clean and degrease the mud guard location area on the fender before installation.
2. Remove existing factory fasteners from locations A and B (Figure 1).
3. Attach mud guard at location A and B with factory fasteners. Check fit and level before tightening.
4. Using mud guard as a template, center punch, drill a 1/8” hole at location C and fasten with a #10 screw.
5. Once installation is complete, check mud guard\tire clearance by turning tires from side-to-side. Remove mud guards immediately if any interference occurs to prevent possible vehicle damage.
HUSKY LINER® MUD GUARDS ARE DESIGNED TO FIT VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH MOST FACTORY WHEEL/TIRE PACKAGES. CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOUR MUD GUARDS DO NOT INTERFERE WITH TIRE TURNING CLEARANCE. DO NOT OPERATE VEHICLE WITH INTERFERENCE AS DAMAGE MAY OCCUR.

PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Clean mud guard with a soap and water solution to remove dirt and other contaminates.
2. Sand painting surface with 320 grit sand paper.
3. Apply a coating of flexible primer-adhesion promoter.
4. Apply a flexible paint as directed by the paint manufacturer
