CARE AND USE INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR
MITSUBISHI MONTERO CARGO LINER
Upon removal of your cargo liner from the box you will notice that the liner will not completely unroll and lay
flat. This is normal and only temporary. Just unroll your liner in the back of your vehicle or onto any clean flat
surface (garage floor, etc.). Lay a weighted object (a book will work well) in each corner to hold the liner flat.
After about 30 minutes your liner will remain flat.
Your liner is made from an engineering resin that is lightweight, extremely tough, and durable. The easiest way
to clean your liner is with a damp cloth or sponge. If using a cleaner, 409® or Glass Plus® work well. Use of
Armor All®, Son-of-a-Gun® or similar items is discouraged as these products make the liner slick.
To use the factory cargo tie-down hooks with your liner installed you will need to remove the sections of your
liner located directly over the hooks. These areas are recessed in your liner and are shown as darkened areas
below. A utility knife or heavy scissors work well for trimming.
Child Car Seat Users: To access the lower anchorages for child car safety seat attachment, trim away the
corresponding raised cover shown below circled.
