IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS AIR PURIFIER

AND SAVE THESE IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

1. This Air Purier is designed for use on a at, level surface and may not work properly on
an uneven surface. ALWAYS place this Air Purier on a rm, level surface. ALWAYS place
the Air Purier at least six (6) inches away from walls and heat sources such as stoves,
radiators, or heaters.

2. Place the Air Purier in an area that is out of the reach of children.

3. Before using the Air Purier, extend the cord and inspect for any signs of damage. DO
NOT use the product if the cord has been damaged.

4. This product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a safety feature.
This plug will t into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not t fully into
the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t, contact a qualied electrician. DO NOT
attempt to defeat or override this safety feature.

5. ALWAYS UNPLUG the Air Purier when it is not in operation, while the lter is being
changed, and while it is being cleaned.

6. DO NOT tilt or move the Air Purier while it is in operation. Shut o and unplug before
moving.

7. DO NOT immerse the Air Purier in water as permanent damage will occur. Refer to and
follow the CLEANING AND FILTER REPLACEMENT instructions.

Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the HEPAtech™ Air Purication System from Hunter Fan Company.
You have purchased our latest development in portable Air Purication Systems. This system
has been developed to improve the quality of the air you breathe.

Our HEPAtech™ Air Purication System out performs other air purication systems by quickly
and eectively removing dust, smoke, and pollen particles as small as .1 microns in size.
Room air is pulled in through the front grill and cleaned across the HEPAtech™ lter. Clean
air is then released out the top grill in order to avoid stirring up settled particles.

Models 30070, 37065, 30075 and 30080 include an ionizer.

Using the ionizer improves the quality of air in the room. Negative ions are released into the
air and positively charged dust, smoke, and pollen particles are attracted to the negative
ions. These particles settle out of the air and can be vacuumed up during normal cleaning.
These particles are also more easily captured by the HEPAtech™ lter as they pass through
the HEPAtech™ Air Purication System. To ensure the best air circulation in the room, we
recommend that you place your air purier six inches away from any walls.

Using Your Air Purier

1. Remove your air purier from the box and take it out of the clear plastic protective
bag.

2. Place your HEPAtech™ Air Purication System on a rm, at surface. Before turning the
Air Purier ‘on’, you need to open the front grill and remove any protective plastic that
may be surrounding the HEPAtech™ lter. To release the front grill, place your ngers
behind the tabs and pull forward.

3. The lter will be installed in the correct position. Grasp the lter and pull it forward.
When you replace the lter in the unit, the white lter material should be facing outward
(towards you) and the black carbon material should be hidden from view (inside the
unit).

4. Replace the front grill. Be sure that the bottom tabs are in location rst, and then push
the top of the grill forward until it is closed. The unit is now ready for normal operation.
NOTE: The unit will not operate unless the door is placed in the proper position.

5. Plug the unit into a 120V electrical outlet.

Models 30054, 30055 and 37055

6. Turn the unit ‘on’ with the rocker switch. The green light will be illuminated when the
power is on. Then, select a speed by sliding the speed selector to the appropriate loca­tion.

Models 30070 and 37065

7. Turn the power ‘on’ by sliding the slide switch to the appropriate speed. You may also
use the ionizer with this model. To turn the ionizer ‘on’, press the rocker switch to the ‘l’
position. The green light will be illuminated when the ionizer is ‘on’.

Models 30075 and Model 30080

8. Turn the power ‘on’ and choose the appropriate speed with the rotary switch. You may
also use the ionizer with this model. To turn the ionizer ‘on’, press the rocker switch to
the ‘l’ position. The green light will be illuminated when the ionizer is ‘on’.

Cleaning And Filter Replacement

(Models 30054, 30055, 37055, 30070, 37065, 30075 and 30080 all use Replacement Filter

30920.)

1 . Clean the outside of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. The front grill can be removed and

cleaned in soapy water. Be sure that all parts are completely dry before you reassemble
them to the Air Purier.

2. Every few weeks, you should open the front grill and view the condition of the HE­PAtech™ Filter. Compare the lter to the color coded chart that is on the inside of the
housing. If the lter matches the dark color on the chart, you should remove the lter
and replace it with a new lter. Be sure to remove the plastic wrapping before placing
the new lter into the Air Purier.

Mounting The Air Purier To The Wall

1. Mount bracket to the base of the air purier.

2. Mount wall bracket to the wall (use toggle bolts (not included) for drywall).

3. Hang the air purier upside down on the wall bracket and plug in to the wall.

4. While your unit is designed to accommodate wall mounting, the optimum performance
will be achieved when the unit is placed on the oor 6 inches away from the walls.

To obtain a replacement lter for your Air Purier, contact customer service at (US) 1-888­830-1326, (Canada) 1-888-855-8300, or e-mail us at [e-mail]. Please
be prepared to tell the operator the model number of your Air Purier and the model
number of the lter you need to replace. Models 30054, 30055, 37055, 30070, 37065, 30075
and 30080 all use Model 30920 Replacement Filters.

5 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

The Hunter Fan Company makes the following limited warranty to the original residential user or
consumer purchaser of the HEPAtech™Air Purication System:

If any part of your HEPAtech™ Air Purication System (“Air Purier”) motor fails during the rst ve (5)
years from the date of installation to you due to a defect in material or workmanship, we will provide
a replacement Air Purier free of charge. Installation is deemed to occur at the date if purchase.

If the Air Purier cord, ionizer, or front grill fails any time within one (1) year after installation due to a
defect in material or workmanship, we will replace or, at our option, repair the unit free of charge at
our nearest service centre or at our Service Department in Memphis, Tennessee. You will be respon­sible for all parts and labour costs after this one-year period.

USE OF A NON-HUNTER FILTER WILL INVALIDATE THIS WARRANTY. IF THE ORIGINAL RESIDENTIAL USER
OR CONSUMER PURCHASER CEASES TO OWN THE AIR PURIFIER, THIS WARRANTY AND ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY WHICH THEN REMAINS IN EFFECT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WAR­RANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE VOIDED.

NO WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED , INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IS MADE IN RESPECT TO THE FILTER MATERIAL OR CARBON
FILTER.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES. THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IN RESPECT TO THE MOTOR IS EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THE
PERIOD OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE.

This warranty is voided if the air purier is not purchased and used in the USA or Canada.
This warranty excludes and does not cover defects, malfunctions or failures of the Air Purier which

were caused by repairs by persons not authorized by us, use of parts or accessories not authorized by
us, mishandling, modications, or damage to the Air Purier while in your possession, or unreason­able use, including failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance. This warranty does not
cover Air Puriers used in commercial applications. There are no express or implied warranties as to
commercial purchasers or users.

To obtain service, contact the nearest Hunter authorized service centre or the Hunter Fan Company
Service Department, 2500 Frisco Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38114, 901-248-2222. For the name
of our nearest authorized Hunter Fan Company Service Centre, write to the Hunter Fan Company
at the preceding address. You will be responsible for insurance and freight or other transportation
to our factory service center. We will return the air purier freight prepaid. The air purier should be
properly packaged to avoid damage in transit since we will not be responsible for any such damage.
Proof of purchase is required when requesting warranty service. The purchaser must present sales
receipt or other document that establishes proof of purchase.

IN NO EVENT SHALL HUNTER FAN COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL CONSEQUEN­TIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE AIR PURIFIER. YOUR SOLE
REMEDY WILL BE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED ABOVE.

INSTRUCCIONES

1. Este puricador de aire puede que no funcione correctamente si se instala sobre una
supercie que no esté nivelada. SIEMPRE coloque este puricador de aire sobre una
supercie rme y nivelada. SIEMPRE coloque el puricador de aire a una distancia de
por lo menos seis (6) pulgadas (15 cm) de las paredes y de las fuentes de calor tales
como estufas, radiadores o calentadores.

2. Coloque el puricador de aire en un área que esté fuera del alcance de los niños.

3. Antes de usar el puricador de aire, extienda el cordón eléctrico e inspecciónelo para
ver si está dañado. NO use el producto si el cordón está dañado.

4. Este producto tiene un enchufe polarizado (una hoja es más ancha que la otra) como
una medida de seguridad. Este enchufe solamente entrará de una manera en un toma­corriente polarizado. Si el enchufe no entra completamente en el tomacorriente, invierta
el enchufe. Si todavía no es posible enchufarlo completamente, llame a un electricista

Introducción

Company. Ha comprado el más moderno sistema portátil de puricación de aire. Este
sistema ha sido desarrollado para mejorar la calidad del aire que respira.

Su sistema de puricación de aire HEPAtech™ rinde más que otros sistemas de puricación
de aire al remover el polvo, humo y partículas de polen de tamaño tan pequeño como
0,1 micrones. El aire de la habitación entra a través de la rejilla del frente y se purica al
pasar a través del preltro de espuma del sistema HEPAtech™. El aire ya puricado sale

Forma de usar su puricador de aire.

1. Saque el puricador de la caja y retire el plástico protector que rodea el sistema.

2. Coloque este puricador de aire sobre una supercie rme y nivelada. Antes de encender
el puricador poniéndolo en ‘on’, usted tiene que abrir la rejilla frontal y retirar el plastico
protector que proteje el ltro HEPAtech™. Colocando los dedos atras de las aletas, hale
la rejilla hacia usted.

3. El ltro viene instalado en la posición correcta. Agarre el ltro y hálelo hacia adelante
y hacia arriba para sacarlo de la unidad. Retire la envoltura plástica y cambie el ltro
en la unidad. El material de ltro blanco de HEPAtech™ debe quedar hacia fuera (hacia
usted), y el material de carbón negro no se debe ver, (dentro de la unidad).

4. Cierre la cubierta frontal. Localize las aletas superiores de la unidad, entonces permita
que la cubierta frontal se deslice en su lugar sobre las aletas. La unidad está ahora lista
para operar normalmente. NOTA: Esta unidad no funcionará a menos que la puerta esté
colocada en la posición correcta.

8. Use el interruptor de tipo rotativo para encender y seleccionar la velocidad del puri­cador de aire. Para encender ‘on’ el ionizador, oprima el interruptor de tipo balancín a
la posición ‘l’. La luz verde se iluminará cuando se haya aplicado la energía eléctrica.

Forma de limpiar y cambiar el ltro.

(Los modelos 30054, 30055, 37055, 30070, 37065, 30075 y 30080 usan el ltro de repuesto

30920).

1. Limpie el exterior de la unidad con un paño suave y húmedo. La rejilla frontal se puede
sacar y lavar en agua jabonosa. Asegúrese de que todas las piezas estén completamente
secas antes de volver a instalarlos en la unidad.

2. Cada unas cuantas semanas, usted debe abrir la rejilla frontal e inspeccionar la condición
del ltro del sistema HEPAtech™. Compare el ltro con el cuadro de códigos de colores
ubicado en el interior de la caja. Si el ltro tiene el color oscuro mostrado en el cuadro,
usted debe retirar el ltro y cambiarlo por uno nuevo. Asegúrese de retirar la envoltura

1. Monte el brazo de soporte en la base del puricador de aire.
