1. Turn on the power of PC1.
2. Connecting the MS3500/MS2600.
Connect the MS2600 (Fingerprint Identification Device for PC Security) to the USB port of the PC

Software Installation
There are three device drivers that should be installed when MS3500(device name) is operated on Windows
98 : USB composite device, MS3500(driver name), and USB human interface device. Install MS3500 only
when MS3500 is operated on Windows 2000/Window XP.
There is one device driver that should be installed when MS2600 is operated on Windows 98/ Windows
2000/ Windows XP : MS2600
For Windows 98
1. USB composite device (MS3500)
At the Add New Hardware Wizard screen shown above, click Next.
At the screenshownabove, select Search for the best driver for your device(Recommended),and
then click Next.
At the screen shown above, select Specify a location, and then click Next.

At the screen shown above, clicking Next will start the installation
When the driver installation is complete and the screen indicating that Windows has finished
installing USB composite device appears, click Finish.

At the Add New Hardware Wizard screen shown above, click Next.
At the screenshownabove, select Search for the best driver for your device(Recommended),and
then click Next.

At the screen shown above, insert the MagicSecure CD and s elect CD ROM drive, and then click
Next.
Note: If the path to the CD ROM drive is not found
1) Ensure that the C D has been inserted.
2) Afterverifying the CD is inserted, click Back to return to the screen wherethe drive is specified.

3) Select Specify a location, and then click Browse....
4) At Folder Brow se, specify the CD-ROM drive and click OK.
At the screen shown above, clicking Next will start the installation.

At the screen shown above, insert the MagicSecure CD and select Removable media (Floppy,
CD-ROM...), and then click Next.

installing MagicSecure3500 appears, click Finish.
MS3500/2600
For Windows 2000 (MS3500/MS2600)
At the Found New Hardware Wizard screen shown above, click Next.
At the screen shown above, select Search for a suitable driver for my device (Recommended),
and then click Next.
At the screen shown above, insert the MagicSecure CD and select CD-ROM drive from Optional
search locations, and then click Next.

At the screen shown above, clicking Next will start the installation.

When the driver installation is complete, and the Completing the Found New Hardware Wizard
screen for MS3500/MS2600 appears, click Finish.
For Windows XP (MS3500/MS2600)
At the Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard screen,select Install from a list or specific
location (Advanced), and then click Next.
Insert the MagicSecure CD and select Search removable media (Floppy, CD-ROM...),andthen
click Next.

screen for MS3500/MS2600 appears, click Finish.
