REPLACING THE MASSAGE MECHANISM
It is imperative that Human Touch® products are repaired in a manner that ensures product safety and regulatory compliance and that is fully consistent with the practices used
during the manufacturing process. Therefore, Human Touch requires that all product repairs are performed using only factory-new parts and in accordance with these repair
instructions. Failure to adhere to these instructions voids the product warranty and releases Human Touch from all liability for injury or product damage resulting from the repair.
Tools Required: Phillips-head screwdriver, wire cutter or other instrument suitable for cutting zip-ties,
new zip-ties, paper clip.
NOTE: SAVE ALL REMOVED PARTS FOR USE DURING REASSEMBLY
REMOVING THE MASSAGE MECHANISM
1. Power off the chair, then unplug it.
2. Standing behind the chair, locate the zipper in the lower right-hand corner (Fig.1).
3. Using a paper clip, open the zipper (Fig.1).
4. Using a wire cutter, cut all zip-ties that secure the mechanism cable harnesses to the chair (Fig.2).
5. Disconnect the four sets of connectors (Fig.3)

6. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove all eight screws that secure the massage mechanism to the chair (Fig.4).
7. Remove the massage mechanism from the chair (Fig.5).

INSTALLING THE NEW MASSAGE MECHANISM
1. Place the massage mechanism into position, then replace the eight screws to secure it.
2. Connect the four massage mechanism connectors to the corresponding connectors on the chair.
3. Using new zip-ties, secure the massage mechanism cable harnesses to the chair in the same location as they were secured previously.
4. Close the backrest zipper.
5. Plug in the chair, power it on, then verify that it is working properly.
