REPLACING THE FOOTREST ROD

Tools Required: 4 mm (5/32") Allen Key (provided), 10-mm wrench
SAVE ALL REMOVED PARTS FOR USE DURING REASSEMBLY
Footrest rod assembled
GET READY
1. Gently tip the chair on its back (Fig.1).
REMOVING THE FOOTREST ROD

1. Using a 10-mm wrench, turn the metal footrest rod nut
counter-clockwise to detach the rod from the spacer barrel,
then remove the rod from the chair frame.
2. Using the 4 mm (5/32") Allen Key (provided), remove the screw
from the top of the black plastic spacer barrel to detach the
spacer barrel from the bracket (Fig.2).

INSTALLING THE NEW FOOTREST ROD
1. Remove the screw from the top of the black plastic spacer barrel (Fig.3).

2. Align the spacer barrel with the corresponding hole on the bracket, then secure it using the screw
you removed in the previous step and the 4 mm (5/32") Allen Key (Fig.4).
3. From below the chair frame, insert the metal rod through the corresponding hole in the chair
frame then into the black spacer barrel (Fig.4).
4. Turn the metal rod clockwise by hand to secure it, then tighten it using a 10-mm wrench.
