Maintenance Manual Leia (ENG)
To ensure that your walking aid is functioning
properly and safely, an annual inspection
should be done only by an authorized agent.
The following maintenance should be done
regularly:
Cleaning
When cleaning the walker it is
recommended machine washing, 60
degrees for 10 minutes. When using a
pressure washer, do not wash directly
to the bearings. In addition to machine
washing, regular cleaning with a mild
cleanser is recommended.
Note! Do NOT use thinner, petrol or other
solvents.
Post treatment
After washing, all connections, tight
spaces and drainage holes should be
blown dry and sprayed with thin oil.
If degreaser is used, the moving parts
should be lubricated.
The Paint
Control damages to the paint.
Pipe frame
Control weldings and screw attaches. If
the corrosion is extensive the rollator
should be replaced.
Handle
Must be fixed. Make sure the handle
profiles can be pushed down to the
chassis. Change the grip if needed.
Brakes
Control that both brakes and parking
brakes are working. Wires should be
intact.
Height adjustment
Control function.
CE-marking
Make sure that the CE-marking is still
there and readable.
Reflectors
Make sure the reflectors are still there
and visible.
Wheels
Make sure the wheels are not worn-
out and are spinning easily without any
noise.
Front forks
Make sure that the ball bearing is firmly
attached and that the forks swings easily.
The front fork inertia can be adjusted by
tightening or untightening the locking
nut.
Folding mechanism
Control function
Seat
Make sure the seat remains in place and
the screws secure and that the seat pad
is properly mounted.

Stability
Control that all wheels are steadily on
the ground and that there are no chassis
distortion.
Test driving
Make a final control by test driving.
Note!
Recondition must be done by a person
who has good knowledge about how the
job should be performed. An incorrect
performed recondition could result an
accident/incident. Always contact your
retailer.
When exchanging parts of the rollator,
use only Human Care parts to ensure
continued CE-validation.
If the corrosion is more than a film of rust
the rollator shall be discarded and return
for recycling.
Intended use
The rollator should only be used as support
whilst walking or as seating whilst stationary.
Do not alter the rollator yourself.

För att säkerställa att ditt gånghjälpmedel
fungerar korrekt och säkert ska ett behörigt
ombud genomföra en årlig inspektion. Följande
underhåll ska utföras regelbundet:
Rengöring
Vid rengöring av rollatorn
rekommenderas maskintvätt i 60
grader i 10 minuter. Vid användning av
en högtryckstvätt ska den inte riktas
direkt mot lagren. Utöver maskintvätt
rekommenderas regelbunden rengöring
med ett milt rengöringsmedel.
Obs! Använd INTE förtunningsmedel,
bensin eller andra lösningsmedel.
Efterbehandling
Efter tvätt ska alla anslutningar, trånga
utrymmen och dräneringshål torkas med
hårtork och sprayas med tunn olja. Om
avfettningsmedel används ska de rörliga
delarna smörjas.
Lacken
Kontrollera om det finns lackskador.
Rörram
Kontrollera svetsfogar och att skruvar
är åtdragna. Om det förekommer
omfattande korrosion ska rollatorn
bytas ut.
Handtag
Måste vara fastsatt. Kontrollera att
handtagsstången kan tryckas ned mot
chassit. Byt ut handtagsgreppet vid
behov.
Bromsar
Kontrollera att både bromsar och
parkeringsbromsar fungerar. Kablarna
ska vara hela.
Höjdjustering
Kontrollera funktionen.
CE-märkning
Kontrollera att CE-märkningen finns kvar
och går att läsa.
Reflexer
Kontrollera att reflexerna finns kvar och
är synliga.
Hjul
Kontrollera att hjulen inte är utslitna och
snurrar lätt utan att avge ljud.
Framgafflar
Kontrollera att kullagret sitter ordentligt
fast och att gafflarna lätt kan svängas.
Tröghet i framgaffeln kan justeras genom
att låsmuttern dras åt eller lossas.
Hopfällningsmekanism
Kontrollera funktionen
Sits
Kontrollera att sitsen sitter på plats, att
skruvarna är åtdragna och sitsdynan är
ordentligt monterad.
