Variable Frequency Drive Diagram
When installing a disconnect in series with a VFD it is critical to include the correct auxiliary contact.
Through extensive testing, Hubbell has determinted the timing of our early break auxiliary contact
HBLAC2 safely disconnects the power by signaling the VFD that the motor disconnect is being turned OFF.
The VFD then executes a coast-to-stop preventing any damage to the disconnect switch and the VFD
output device.
