INST ALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
General Information
CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Do not apply power before completely installing
This equipment is intended for installation in ordinary locations in accordance with national and local electri­cal codes.
For installation by a qualified electrician in accordance applicable codes and standards for the jurisdiction in which the LINKOSITY™ power system is to be installed.
Confirm device rating is proper for application.
CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK OR
FIRE: The load (output) connectors are not rated for current rupture and MUST NOT be used for disconnection under load.
When connecting cable set to PSSA the coupling nut is to be made wrench tight; ¼ turn pass hand-tight.
Verify all connections are properly secured.
When connecting to LINKOSITYTM connectors the cou-
pling nut is to be made wrench tight; ¼ turn beyond hand­tight
Mounting Options:
Panel mount – Enclosure Type 1
Feeders to the Primary
The feeders to the PSSA MUST be run in accordance with the applicable codes and standards for the jurisdiction in which the LINKOSITY power system is to be installed. Accepts #14 - #6 AWG copper conductor, Torque 35 pounds for #10 - #14 AWG, Torque 40 pounds for #6 - #8 AWG
Positioning & Mounting:
Ventilation openings are NOT to be obstructed.
Ventilation clearances MUST NOT be less than 6
inches (.15m) all around assembly. Front of assembly MUST remain accessible for inspection & mainte­ nance.
Typical working space requirement in front of PSSA: o Depth:
3 feet (0.9m) with no live or grounded parts on other side of the working space, or 3.5 feet (1m) when installed across from a grounded surface, or 4 feet (1.2m) when installed across from exposed live parts
o Headroom to be equal or greater than 6.5 feet (2m) o Width to be width of the equipment or 2.5 feet
(0.75m) whichever is greater
o Shall permit at least a 90° opening of PSSA door Note: Working space must be acceptable to the inspection Authorities Having Jurisdiction in the jurisdiction in which the LINKOSITY™ power system is to be installed
Required dedicated equipment space MUST equal the width and depth of the PSSA and extending from floor to a height of 6.5 feet (2m) or to the structural ceiling, whichever is lower.
Grounding Electrode Conductor CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. PSSA MUST be
effectively grounded to the premises grounding electrode system in accordance with the National Electrical Code.

UL Listing Information
UL Listed to UL508A as an Industrial Control Panel intended for general use in ordinary location in accor­dance with the National Electrical Code.
Not Listed for use with: a) fire pump controllers, b) industrial control panels for use in hazardous (classified) locations; c) industrial control panels with intrinsically safe circuits that extend into a hazardous (classified) location (i.e. the panel contains one or more intrinsic safety barriers, shunt – diode barriers, or zener barriers); d) pre-fabricated buildings, structures or platforms for support of persons; e) controls for fuel dispensing equipment (e.g. gasoline pumps); f) controls for swimming pools or spas; g) controls for emergency lighting and power equipment; h) fire or emergency alarm equipment; i) gas or vapor detection equipment; j) termination boxes (containing terminals for connecting conductors of power or distribution circuits); k) portable power distribution equipment, (plug and receptacle input and output, power distribution only, no control circuit) for construction sites, theaters, motion picture and television studios, carnivals, circuses, fairs and exhibition halls; l) the controlled equipment supplied from an industrial control panel, such as motors, pumps, machines, robots, air conditioners, etc.
