Hard-Wired Product Offering
Features and Benefits
30 AMP Rating
All products feature a 30
Amp maximum rating,
but may be used in any
15 or 20 Amp circuit.
Single Phase
Applications
These single-phase products are available in
120V, 240V, or 120 /240V
4-wire versions.
Manual Reset or
Automatic Reset
Versions
All units may be ordered in
either a Manual Reset or
Automatic Reset version.
The manual reset product
features a black cover
label, and the automatic
reset product features a
yellow cover label.
Audible Alarm
All voltage types are available with an audible alarm. The alarm alerts you if a ground fault has
occurred and the GFCI has tripped. The alarm may be disabled or wired into a switch so that the
customer has the choice of use or non-use.
Remote Output Signal
Remote monitoring is also available. The units may be ordered with a line voltage output or either
a 12V DC or 24V DC output signal. These signals can be used to turn on a remote buzzer, light,
or signal a PLC in the event of a ground fault condition.
Open Neutral Protection
All Hubbell Hard-Wired GFCI products come standard with open neutral protection and meet
OSHA requirements for job-site use (confined space).
Class A GFCI Protection
Offers a 4 to 6 mA trip level.
LED Indicators
Green light illuminates when unit has power and no ground fault is present. Red light begins
blinking when a ground fault is detected and the output power is interrupted.
Enclosure Rating
All products feature a UL Enclosure Type 4X rating.
Mounting Flexibility
Each unit comes standard with a foam gasket, mounting template, and detailed instructions for
installation in a panel mount application. All Hard-Wired units may be either surface mounted or
panel mounted.
Threaded Hub
All hard-wired products come with a ¾” threaded hub that may be used with PolyTuff®liquidtight
conduit, flexible conduit, EMT, or rigid conduit.
Manual Reset GFCI
Requires the GFCI to be manually
reset for use by pressing the
reset button after the loss of
primary power. Must be also
manually reset after a ground
fault condition. Manual reset
is ideal for applications where
operator injury might occur if
equipment were to restart after a
power failure.
Automatic Reset GFCI
Automatically energizes or sets
the GFCI for use once power is
applied to the circuit. After a
ground fault condition the unit
must be reset by pushing the
reset button. This feature eliminates the need for the unit to be
reset each time the power is
turned on. Automatic reset is
ideal where temporary power
failure is likely and undesirable
such as waste-water treatment
plants, portable signs and some
pump applications.
