Before installing, make sure you are compliant with area classications, failure to do so may result in bodily injury,
death and property damage. Do not attempt installation until you are familiar with the following procedures. All
installation must comply with the applicable Electrical Code.
Make sure that the circuit is de-energized before starting installation or maintenance.
Verify that the installation is grounded. Failure to ground will create electrical shock hazards, which can cause
serious injury and or death.

Before installing, be sure to read and be familiar with
the following instruction procedures. All installations
must comply with applicable local, National Electrical
Codes and/or Canadian Electrical Code.
The Duraloy 7 Series consists of 10 separate models,
either Aluminum or Iron type. The function of the
conduit body is to provide access to conductors for
pulling, splicing and maintenance per NEC regulation
standards.
DIRECTIONS FOR INSTALLATION
WARNING: Electrical power supply MUST BE OFF
Before and during installation and maintenance.
1. Do not use this equipment for any application other
than the intended use as specied per certied UL
or CSA les and their ratings.
2. Turn OFF the supplying circuit before beginning
installation or performing any maintenance. With
power turned off, service must be done in nonhazardous atmosphere.
3. If a gasket is required, ensure tight seal between
conduit body and cover.
4. The connecting conduit and ttings shall be made
wrench tight to prevent sparking when fault current
ows through the conduit system. The threaded
connection must exist to ensure the integrity of the
conduit system.
