This product must be installed in accordance with applicable installation code(s), by a person familiar with the
construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.*
Caution: Do not exceed maximum wattage noted on fixture. Use only recommended bulbs with fixture.
For fixtures requiring assembly, please refer to assembly instructions before installation.
Please Note: This fixture is designed to be mounted on a standard wall surface and may not be suitable for all
applications. If installing in a non-wood frame application, we recommend consulting a qualified builder or electrician.

Caution: Be sure power is off at the main breaker box prior to
installation.
1. Carefully unpack the fixture from the carton.
2. Place the wall mounting plate (B) over the electrical box
using the center hole provided being sure to hold it plum
and level. With a pencil, mark the location of all mounting
holes in the wall mount bracket on the wall behind. Set
aside the wall mounting plate and drill 1/4" holes in the
locations marked on the wall. For holes using anchors,
place the tapered end of the anchors (G) into the holes and
gently tap them flush to the wall using a light weight
hammer. Using two machine screws (not provided), fasten
the mounting plate (B) to the outlet box, making sure the
mounting holes are level.
Note: A new outlet box comes with screws. When
replacing a fixture, retain the screws for use with the new
fixture.
IMPORTANT: Fixture must be secured to a solidly mounted
electrical box. If in doubt, contact a qualified electrician.

3. All fixtures are shipped with the socket screws (E) in the number two position. For product 21-7705F (River
Sconce) the screws need to be removed and the sockets moved up to the number one position. Thread socket
screw (E) in the number one location until snug.
Note: Sockets may be adjusted for the other front panels per personal preference. Socket screws (E) should
always be in the same corresponding holes. (1 & 1, 2 & 2).
4. Move fixture (A) into position. Using suitable wire connectors (not provided), connect the fixture wires to the
supply wires; white to white, black to black, and bare copper or green to bare copper or green.
Connect all ground wires to mounting plate (B) using cupped washer (F) and ground screw (C).
Caution: Make sure wire connectors are twisted on securely and no bare wires are exposed.

5. Carefully tuck all wires behind the fixture, place fixture firmly against the wall and fasten with 8-32 screws (D).
Note: Ballast disconnect should be located in center of electrical box.
6. Install light bulbs. (See bulb installation at the end of the instructions)
7. Restore electricity at the main breaker.
8. Refer to glass and front mounting instructions on the next page for complete
installation.

1. Install diffuser (I) so it rests between corner blocks (K) and diffuser clip (J).

1. Remove the four screws (N) from the front of fixture (A).
2. Install four adhesive backed foam washers (O) onto front of fixture
(A) to help cushion glass panel (L).
3. Slip screw (N) through front plate (M) and glass panel (L).
4. Thread screw (N) into fixture (A) until snug against front plate (M).
