This product must be installed in accordance with applicable installation code(s), by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.*
Caution: Do not exceed maximum wattage noted on fixture. Use only recommended bulbs with fixture.
To Install Mounting Bracket to Ceiling (Figure 1)
Component Parts
A Mounting Bracket B Anchor (3) C #10 Screw (3)
1. Carefully unpack fixture and canopy from carton.
2. Unscrew barrel knobs to separate mounting bracket from canopy.
3. Position the mounting bracket (A) over the electrical box aligning ovals in bracket with mounting holes in
electrical box. Orient fixture to desired hanging position and mark the location of the anchors (B) on the ceiling. Set the mounting bracket aside.
4. Drill 1/8” holes in the location marked on the ceiling. Place the tapered ends of the anchors (B) into the holes and
gently tap flush using a lightweight hammer.
5. Place mounting bracket (A) over electrical box. Using two machine screws (not provided) fasten the mounting
bracket (A) to the electric box . Thread the #10 screws (C) through the bracket and into the anchors (C) to secure the bracket to the ceiling. Be careful not to over tighten or strip the anchors.
Note: A new electric box comes with screws. When replacing an existing fixture, retain screws for use with the new fixture.

To Assemble Canopy (Figure 2)
Component Parts
D ¼” diameter Rod (2) E ½” diameter Ball (2) F Hex Nipple (3) G Lock Washer (3) H Canopy I Short Canopy Pipe (2) J Long Canopy Pipe (2)
1. Remove ball (E) from one end of ¼”
diameter rod (D). Slip rod (D) up through hole in canopy (H) and reattach ball (E).
2. Repeat step one for second rod (D) and
ball (E).
Note: Reference Figure 2 for mounting locations of Short Canopy Pipe (I) and Long Canopy Pipe (J)
3. Thread socket wires through canopy.
Line up end of canopy pipe (I/J) with

hole in canopy (H). Slip lock washer (G) and hex nipple

(F) onto wires.
6. Place hex nipple (F) through lock
washer (G), down through holes in canopy and thread into canopy pipe. Tighten securely.
7. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the remaining
pipes.

To Install Canopy (Figure 3)
Component Parts

1. Raise canopy (H) close to ceiling. Attach canopy
support cable (N) to mounting bracket(A) using a #8 screw (K). Temporarily suspend canopy using cable (Figure 3).
Caution: The cable is intended to temporarily
suspend the canopy to help with fixture installation. Never depend on them to support fixtures with glass installed.
2. Using suitable wire connectors (not provided)
connect fixture wires to supply (white to white and black to black). Using cupped washer (L) and green ground screw (M) run pigta il fro m mounting bracket (A) to junction box. Connect all ground wires (bare copper or green to bare copper or green). Push wires back into outlet box.
Caution: Make sure wire connectors are twisted
on securely, and no bare wire is exposed.
3. Raise canopy (H) to ceiling, push firmly to ceiling
making sure no wires are pinched between fixture canopy (H) and ceiling. Secure canopy (H) to mounting bracket (A) using #8 screws (K) and barrel knobs (X).
4. Install bulbs (V). Be careful not to touch bulb
with bare hands; oil from the hands will dramatically reduce bulb life.
5. Screw shields (W) on to sockets. Do not over
tighten.

To Install Glass (Figure 4)

Component Parts

U Glass T Thumb Screw (3) K Body
1.
Loosen the three thumb screws (T). It is not necessary to remove them from the fixture.
2. Lower glass (U) into fixture body (K) and
tighten thumb screws (T) equally, until snug against glass.
To Complete Fixture Assembly OPTION 1: GLASS SIDE DOWN (Figure 5)
(For GLASS SIDE UP installation see next page)
Component Parts

1. Remove balls (E) from rods (D).
Note: The fixture body (Q/Y) is factory shipped ready installation with glass side down. To reverse fixture and install with glass side up, see To Complete Fixture Assembly – GLASS SIDE UP (Figure 6) next page.
2. Loosen Thumb screw (S) from block (P).
Orient fixture body (Q/Y) with glass side down. Slide fixture body (Q/Y) up onto rod (D), slipping the fixture body (Q/Y) over the shield (W). Adjust to desired height and tighten thumb screw (S).
Note: Reference Figure 5 for installation locations of Short fixture body (Q) and long fixture body (Y).
3. Repeat Step 2 for three other fixture
bodies (Q/Y).
4. Reattach balls (E) onto the rods (D).
5. Restore electricity at main breaker.

To Complete Fixture Assembly OPTION 2: GLASS SIDE UP (Figures 6 & 7)

1. To install fixtu re with the glass side up, the orientation of the
block (P) must be changed (Figure 7). Set fixture body (Q/Y) on a flat surface.
2. Loosen set screw (R). Carefully flip block (P) over. Make
sure that the block stays the same distance from the counterweight (O) and glass (U). Make sure that the top of the block is parallel to the top of the fixture body (Q/Y) (Figure 7). Retighten set screw (R).
3. Remove balls (E) from rod (D) (Figure 6).
4. Loosen thumb screw (S) from
block (P). Orient fixture body (Q/Y) with glass side down. Slide fixture body (Q/Y) up onto rod (D), slipping the fixture body (Q/Y) over the shield (W). Adjust to desired height and tighten thumb screw (S)
5. Repeat step 2 for three other fixture
bodies (Q/Y) (Figure 6).
6. Reattach balls (E) onto the
rods (D) (Figure 6).
7. Restore electricity at main breaker.
