To Install Mounting Bracket to Ceiling (Figure 1)
Component Parts
A Mounting Bracket
B Anchor (3)
C #10 Screw (3)
1. Carefully unpack fixture and canopy from carton.
2. Unscrew barrel knobs to separate mounting bracket from canopy.
3. Position the mounting bracket (A) over the electrical box aligning ovals in bracket with mounting holes in
electrical box. Orient fixture to desired hanging position and mark the location of the anchors (B) on the ceiling.
Set the mounting bracket aside.
4. Drill 1/8” holes in the location marked on the ceiling. Place the tapered ends of the anchors (B) into the holes and
gently tap flush using a lightweight hammer.
5. Place mounting bracket (A) over electrical box. Using two machine screws (not provided) fasten the mounting
bracket (A) to the electric box . Thread the #10 screws (C) through the bracket and into the anchors (C) to secure
the bracket to the ceiling. Be careful not to over tighten or strip the anchors.
Note: A new electric box comes with screws. When replacing an existing fixture, retain screws for use with the

1. Raise canopy (H) close to ceiling. Attach canopy
support cable (N) to mounting bracket(A) using a
#8 screw (K). Temporarily suspend canopy using
cable (Figure 3).
Caution: The cable is intended to temporarily
suspend the canopy to help with fixture
installation. Never depend on them to support
fixtures with glass installed.
2. Using suitable wire connectors (not provided)
connect fixture wires to supply (white to white
and black to black). Using cupped washer (L)
and green ground screw (M) run pigta il fro m
mounting bracket (A) to junction box. Connect
all ground wires (bare copper or green to bare

Caution:Make sure wire connectors are twisted
on securely, and no bare wire is exposed.
3. Raise canopy (H) to ceiling, push firmly to ceiling
making sure no wires are pinched between fixture
canopy (H) and ceiling. Secure canopy (H) to
mounting bracket (A) using #8 screws (K) and
barrel knobs (X).
4. Install bulbs (V). Be careful not to touch bulb
with bare hands; oil from the hands will
dramatically reduce bulb life.
Loosen the three thumb screws (T). It is not
necessary to remove them from the fixture.
2. Lower glass (U) into fixture body (K) and
tighten thumb screws (T) equally, until snug
against glass.
