Quidway® NetEngine 40 Series Universal Switching
Overview
The OC-3c/STM-1 POS optical interface board of the Quidway® NetEngine 40 universal switching router (USR) series (abbreviated as NE40) consists of the PIC OC-3c/STM-1 POS optical interface and the line processing unit (LPU). The OC-3c/STM-1 POS optical interface mainly implements POS frame encapsulation/decapsulation of data flows and SDH/SONET mapping/demapping of POS frames, provides 155M external optical interfaces, and enables such functions as loopback, environment monitoring and information inquiry.
CR-P4CF
This board helps NE40 connect with SDH transmission equipment or others by providing 155Mbps transmission channels. It now is widely accepted by operators and large and medium-sized enterprises.
The board is designed with the SFP optical module that supports hot swapping. Therefore, it allows you to select optical modules according to transmission distance.
Specifications
The NE40 provides two types of OC-3c/STM-1 POS optical interface boards: CR-P4CF and CR-P8CF.
