Quidway® NetEngine 80E Core Router
OC-12c/STM-4c POS Optical Interface Board
The Quidway® NetEngine 80E core router (“NE80E” hereinafter) provides high-density OC-12c/STM-4c POS optical interface boards to connect with the SDH transmission equipment or other equipment. The boards may be plugged in any service slots of the NE80E and provide 622M transmission channels.
CR52-4xPOS/STM4-SFP
The OC-12c/STM-4c POS optical interface boards implement POS frame encapsulation/ decapsulation of data flows and SDH/SONET mapping/dema pping of POS frames, provide external optical interfaces at a rate of 622 Mbps, and provide such functions as loopback, environment monitoring and information query.
They support hot plugging. The user may add or remove them as needed while the equipment is powered on without affecting the services of the other interface boards. In addition, hot pluggable SFP optical modules are adopted for plug and play. The rate can reach 622 Mbps. Optical modules supporting different transmission distances may be selected depending on the networking requirements.
Specifications
Currently, the NE80E provides one type of OC-12c/STM-4c POS optical interface board: CR52-4xPOS/STM4-SFP.
