network at a high speed.

Note: This manual describes the appearance, installation and removal of
the K3565. For the operation of the management program, refer to the
User Manual.

Getting to Know Your K3565

The following figure shows the appearance of the K3565. It is only for your
reference. The actual product may differ.

ΠUSB Interface

It connects the K3565 to a computer.

• SIM/USIM Card Slot

It is where you insert the subscriber identity module/UMTS subscriber identity
module (SIM/USIM) card.

Ž Micro SD Card Slot

It is where you insert the Micro Secure Digital Memory (SD) card

• Indicator

It indicates the status of the K3565.
Colour

Green Blinking (on for 100ms and

off for 100ms; then on for
100ms and off for
2700ms)

Preparation

Requirements for the Computer

To use the K3565, the computer should meet the following requirements:

n USB Type A Receptacle, Compatible with USB 2. 0 High Speed.
n Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista.
n Your computer’s hardware system should meet or exceed the recommended

system requirements for the installed version of OS.

n Resolution for the display: 800 × 600 or above.

Getting Your K3565 Ready

n Remove the USIM/SIM card slot from the K3565.
n Insert the USIM/SIM card into the card slot.
n Insert the card slot into the K3565.
