Compaq UPS option cards seamlessly integrate into the back bezel of your Compaq R6000 UPS. The Compaq Multi-Server Card facilitates direct communication with up to three servers, eliminating the need for multiple UPSs. The Compaq Scalable Card enables multiple UPSs to work together and to be monitored as one logical UPS providing scalability and field upgradability. Equipped with two option slots, the Compaq R6000 UPS can support the Compaq Multi-Server and Scalable Cards simultaneously. With five load segments, you have the flexibility to configure scheduled startups and shutdowns, as well as independently control separate load segments. With the bundled Compaq Power Management Software, the Compaq R6000 UPS can be configured to extend the runtime for more critical devices. SNMP-EN Adapter acts as a user interface in a network environment, allowing communication between the UPS and the server, when the SNMP-based power management software, Compaq OnliNet Centro is installed. Network managers can perform basic SNMP queries to determine specific power information, such as battery capacity, on demand from the UPS. The SNMP-EN Adapter also provides unsolicited communications to the network management software in the event of a power failure or a critical UPS condition.
