The HPE ProLiant server cartridge plugged into a HPE Edgeline EL4000 has its own iLO 4 management processor, which can be accessed directly through the management network.

The HPE Edgeline EL4000 System implements a light

chassis controller to monitor and control common chassis elements. The iLO4 on the server cartridge communicates with the Chassis Controller to gather and report status information on the chassis itself.
