Purpose: The document is intended for use by end-of-life recyclers or treatment facilities. It provides the basic instructions
for the disassembly of HP products to remove components and materials requiring selective treatment, as defined by EU
directive 2002/96/EC, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

3.0 Product Disassembly Process

3.1 List the basic steps that should typically be f oll owed to remove components and materials requiring selective treatment:
1. Unscrew the screw on base.
2. Unscrew the screw on stand and pul l out the stand.
3. Unscrew the screw on back cover and use tool to remove rear cover.
4. Remove the screw on the key board to remove key board.
5. Tear off all tapes, remove al l sc rews and disconnect the connectors the separate t he m ai n frame and panel.
6. Dismantle the PCBA screws.
7. Take off board.
