S300 SMOKE DETECTOR CONVERSION MODULE S300 SMOKE DETECTOR CONVERSION MODULE

The S300 smoke detector conversion module
enables most popular battery powered
domestic smoke detectors to be connected to
a conventional intruder alarm control panel.
This is acheived without any modification to
the smoke detector or the control panel.

The S300 is the same size as the 9volt PP3
battery it replaces. Installation is simple.
Remove the battery supplied with the smoke
detector and plug in the S300. Connect 12 volts
dc from the intruder alarm control to the
terminals marked +ve & -ve. The tamper circuit
of the control should be connected to the
terminals marked COM and NC. This presents a
conventional closed circuit to the control when
the smoke detector is in its quiescent state.
The S300 does not effect the normal operation
of the smoke detector, either its ability to detect

into the smoke detector
