WATCH CARE
Cleaning:
The surfaces of the watch should be cleaned with a lightly damp, non- abrasive cloth only. It is strongly recommended that watches are wiped down after any exposure to salt
water in order to protect the nish. Please allow watches
to air-dry completely after cleaning. All House of Horology timepieces are designed with a water-resistance rating of up to 10ATM (330 feet), but please remember that your watch is only water-resistant when the crown is screwed in fully.
leather Strap:
The natural material used to manufacture your strap is sensitive to the elements. Water, sunlight, and exposure to chemicals or perspiration may cause discoloration, damage, and deterioration to your strap. To extend the strap’s longevity, it’s important to protect it from these elements as much as possible. When cleaning, we recommend using a dry, soft cotton cloth. As with all natural leather goods, colors will darken and may develop a patina over time. This is normal, and part of the beauty of natural leather.

WATCH CARE
pVD Coating:
Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) is an environmentally friendly vacuum coating process that provides brilliant
and extremely durable decorative nishes. Compared
to traditional electroplated coatings, PVD coatings have superior hardness and wear resistance, do not discolor or tarnish, have high corrosion resistance and do not
suffer under UV radiation. However, an impact of sufcient
force could potentially penetrate the PVD and affect the underlying material. Polishing to remove scratches is not recommended due the nature of the substrate.
CryStal:
Your timepiece is tted with an extremely scratch-resistant
sapphire crystal. Although resilient, the sapphire crystal surface can be scratched by harder materials, such as diamonds and harder man-made materials. The crystal may also be damaged by a percussive shock, so to ensure the integrity of your crystal, please avoid dropping or striking your watch against any hard surfaces. To care for the crystal, buff with a soft cloth.
Battery life inDiCator:
When the battery nears its end, the small second hand moves at two-second intervals instead of normal one-second intervals. In that case, have the battery replaced with a new one as soon as possible.
