Thank you for purchasing a HOTONE product!
The Hotone B Station is a high quality bass preamp and D.I. with a wide tonal
range. We designed B Station with all the features you need for studio and stage-this compact workhorse is perfect as the center of your bass rig.

Front Panel
1. ON/OFF: Switches the unit on/off (effect/bypass).
2. DRIVE: For switching DRIVE channel on/off. The LEDs above the footswitches
indicate the on/off status.
3. VOLUME: Controls the output level of your bass.
4-6. BASS/MIDDLE/TREBLE: 3-band EQ, for shaping your bass sound.
7. BLEND: Controls the ratio between the clear and driven signal. This knob is
unavailable when DRIVE channel is off.
8. DRIVE: Controls the amount of overdrive.
9. COMP: Controls the amount of compression. This knob won't be affected by the
BLEND knob.
Top (I/O) Panel
10. INPUT: 1/4” (6.35mm) mono input jack, for connecting bass.
11. PHONES: 1/8” (3.5mm) stereo output jack, for connecting earphones.
12. PARALLEL OUTPUT: 1/4” (6.35mm) mono output jack, for connecting parallel
devices (tuners, processors, etc.). The B Station won't affect this output.
13. FX LOOP SEND: 1/4” (6.35mm) mono jack, connect to your effects input jack.
14. FX LOOP RETURN: 1/4” (6.35mm) mono jack, connect to your effects output jack.
15. DC 9V: Plug in 9V DC adapter (center negative, adapter sold separately).
16. PRE EQ/POST EQ: Press this button to switch the EQ to function before or after
the DRIVE channel.
17. OUTPUT: 1/4” (6.35mm) output jack, for connecting bass amps.
18. DIRECT OUTPUT: XLR output jack, for connecting audio interfaces or mixers.
19. LIFT/GND: Press this button out to lift the ground wire of the DIRECT OUTPUT
jack to eliminate any hum noise.
20. Battery compartment (on the bottom): Holds one 9-volt battery.

IMPORTANT: TURN ON FIRST, TURN OFF LAST. Always mute the mixer/audio
interface or turn down the volume knob on your amp before plugging or
unplugging power jacks, cables, etc.
When you're using a mixer or an audio interface, please adjust the knobs onboard
carefully to avoid signal clipping.
When you're using headphones, please adjust the knobs onboard carefully or just
turn the VOLUME knob down before plugging in headphones. This will reduce the
chance of hearing damage due to loud volumes.
This unit CANNOT be supplied by phantom power.
Note: All output jacks can be used at the same time.
