Rear Sway bar Installation
1. Look in the rear wheel well in front of the tire and you'll notice the existing frame
hole. Mark and center punch 5/8 from the edge of the existing frame hole. Now
you are ready to
drill a 17/32 hole.
2. Grab you new HP rear end links and grease them with the provided grease.

3. Out of the hardware pack T1712 grab the two shorter bolts (2'3/4") out of the four
and place them through the end links using the big washer.
4. Then grab the nut clip and put it through the existing frame hole and tighten the
bolt.
5. Now grab the rear sway bar bushings and grease the inner hole with the provided
grease.
6. Place the bushings on the sway bar followed by the bracket.
7. Attach the sway bar to the end links and finger tight the bolts and let it hang. Start
with the end link on the out side hole and if you want the rear end stiffer change it
to the inside hole
8. Now remove the bottom shock bolt and pull the shock out of the axle brackets.

*You may have to remove some hardware washers for shock clearances
9. Place the bolts through the existing hole* and pull the sway bar mounts up to the
bolts and tighten.
10. Now tighten the end links.
11. Now you are ready to tighten the sway bar mount bolts.
12. Now tighten the shocks back up and get ready for the front installation.

Front Sway Bar Installation
1. Look and study the current location of your front stock sway bar.
2. Loosen and remove the nuts that connects the end links to the sway bar and
remove the rubber bushings.
3. Loosen and remove the four bolts' that hold the sway bar to the frame.
4. Now you should be ready to remove the stock sway bar.
5. With the provided grease, grease the inner wall of the bushings.
6. Place the bushing over the sway bar followed by the bracket.
7. Remove the stock bushing from the end links and then you place the new HP
bushings on the end link.

8. Place the sway bar over the end links followed by the HP bushing. Then start the
nut but do not tighten just yet.
9. Now that the sway bar is connected to end links this will allow you to lift the
sway bar up and start the four bolts that connect the sway bar mounts to the frame
and again do not tighten just yet.
10. Now you're ready to tighten the end links. After those are tight, now proceed to
tighten the four sway bar mount bolts.

11. Make sure everything that you touched is tight including the front and rear.

to our facility. The product has to be unused and in it s original pack aging materials. Exc hanges
or refunds made after 30 days will be subject to a 20% restoc king charge. If you purchased
your Hotchkis Performance product from an authorized dealer, you are still covered by
this return policy. All returns however, should be made to your dealer, not to Hotchkis
Performance directly.
Limited Warranty
Hotchkis Performance offers a Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship
for the term of 36 months (3 years) from the date of purchase of this product. This Warranty only
applies to the original retail purchaser who retains ownership of the vehicle on which the product
was originally installed. If the product is determined to be defective, Hotchkis Performance will
repair, replace or refund the purchase price of the defective product at Hotchkis Performance's
sole discretion, which shall fully satisfy and discharge any and all warranty claims. Any repaired
or replaced product will be returned to the sender excluding the cost of freight.

manufacturer's terms and are not covered by this limit ed warranty. Hotchkis Perf ormance shall
not be responsible for any labor, rem oval, installation, r e-installation or m aintenance cos ts. This
warranty does not co ver t h e c osmetic finish or platin g of any product or an y norm al wear a nd tear
to any product including, but not limited to bushings, brackets, end-links, hardware, steering
components, shocks or springs. In addition, this warranty does not appl y to any products that
have been:
Improperly installed or installe d by someone other than a qualified, licensed auto mechanic
experienced in the installation and removal of suspension products;
Improperly serviced, misused, or modified, altered or subjected to abuse, negligence, accident or
collision;
Installed in any vehicle that has been modified;
Installed on any vehicle that has carried loads in excess of automobile manufacturer suggested weight
limits; or
Installed on any vehicle that has been subject to abnormal or excessive use, including rallying, racing,
or racing-type activities or off-road use.
