C1160-5 Product description:
A surface applied activating device that includes
a stainless steel base and two molded Lexan enclosures. One enclosure
contains a photoelectric transmitter; the other matching enclosure contains a
photoelectric receiver. The system responds to an interruption ofthe light path
between the Lexan enclosures; this interruption signals the window to open.

The C1160-5 assembly should be mounted inside and
directly in front of the window so when the user leans
against the counter, he is also between
the Lexan enclosures. Note: The electrical contractor
should provide accessible route from the mounting
location to the base of the window lock jamb, routing the
24 VAC, Class II control wire to the operator.
