OPERATION OF THE CHRONOGRAPH
The measured time is indicated by the chronograph hands that move
independently of the center and 24-hour hands. The chronograph can measure
up to 60 minutes in seconds.
Before timing, make sure that the chronograph second and minute hands
have been reset.
How to use:
Press push-button (9) – the chronograph second hand will start instantly.
When the event ends, press push-button (9), the hand will stop and display the
exact elapsed time.
Press push-button (10) - the second and minute hands will reset. To measure a
series of sequential times: press push-button (9) again to restart the hands.
RESETTING CHRONOGRAPH COUNTERS
Before setting the time, check if the chronograph second and minute hand are
at the "0"(12 o'clock) position. If the chronograph is in use, press the buttons in
the following order to reset it, and then, check if the hands return to "0" position.
If the chronograph is counting: 9 10
If the chronograph is stopped: 10
If the split time is displayed: 10 9 10
If either of the chronograph hands are not in the "0" position, reset them
following the procedure below:
• Pull the crown out to position C.
• Press button 9 or 10 to reset all chronograph hands to "0" position. The
chronograph minute hand moves correspondingly with the
chronograph second hand. The hands move quickly if the respective
buttons are kept pressed.
• Push the crown back to the normal position.
