Your watch is equipped with a high precision Japanese quartz movement with
variation of only a few seconds per month at normal temperature range. The C1
chronograph can measure the elapsed time up to 60 minutes in seconds along
with split time management. It shows time in hours, minutes and seconds along
with a 24-hour counter and the date display. To ensure that the watch continues
to perform smoothly, please observe the important operating instructions.

FUNCTIONS OF THE CROWN
A – NORMAL POSITION
B – DATE SETTING
C – TIME SETTING
DATE SETTING (POSITION B)
This functions enables you to set the date displayed by the watch rapidly,
without changing the time, using only the crown.
How to use:
• Pull the crown out to position B.
• Turn the crown clockwise until the desired date appears in the window.
• Press the crown in completely against the case.
It is strongly recommended not to make this correction between 9 pm and 1
am, as the calendar disc is “engaged” during this period, so the operation might
damage the mechanism. If a month has fewer than 31 days, you will need to set
the date manually to the first day of the following month.

TIME SETTING (POSITION C)
This function enables you to set the time of your watch using the crown.
When performing this operation, make sure that the calendar date change
is at midnight and not at midday.
How to use:
• Pull the crown out to position C, at the exact moment when the second
hand is at the 12 o’clock position; the hand will then stop.
• Then turn the crown clockwise and set the hour and minute hands to
the desired time.
• Check the 24hour hand is set correctly.
• Press the crown completely against the case.
Do not press any push-button when the crown is in position C, otherwise the
chronograph hands will move.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure that the crown is pushed back completely to
the normal position after every operation to prevent moisture and water
seeping into the case.
To set your watch correctly, proceed as follows: –
Pull out the crown to position B.
Turn the crown to the right to advance the date display in steps. Set the
display to yesterday’s date.
Pull out the crown to position C. This will stop the movement. To set the
time accurately to the second, it is best to stop the movement as the
seconds hand passes 12 o’clock position.
Turn the hands forwards until the date display changes to today’s date.
The hands will now be positioned between 12 mid night and 1 a.m.
Now turn the hands forward till the current time is achieved making
sure that the 24-hour hand is set correctly.
Push the crown back to the normal position A to start the movement.

OPERATION OF THE CHRONOGRAPH
The measured time is indicated by the chronograph hands that move
independently of the center and 24-hour hands. The chronograph can measure
up to 60 minutes in seconds.
Before timing, make sure that the chronograph second and minute hands
have been reset.
How to use:
Press push-button (9) – the chronograph second hand will start instantly.
When the event ends, press push-button (9), the hand will stop and display the
exact elapsed time.
Press push-button (10) - the second and minute hands will reset. To measure a
series of sequential times: press push-button (9) again to restart the hands.
RESETTING CHRONOGRAPH COUNTERS
Before setting the time, check if the chronograph second and minute hand are
at the "0"(12 o'clock) position. If the chronograph is in use, press the buttons in
the following order to reset it, and then, check if the hands return to "0" position.
If the chronograph is counting: 9 10
If the chronograph is stopped: 10
If the split time is displayed: 10 9 10
If either of the chronograph hands are not in the "0" position, reset them
following the procedure below:
• Pull the crown out to position C.
• Press button 9 or 10 to reset all chronograph hands to "0" position. The
chronograph minute hand moves correspondingly with the
chronograph second hand. The hands move quickly if the respective
buttons are kept pressed.
• Push the crown back to the normal position.

SPLIT TIME MEASUREMENT
Push button (10) is also used to record split times or lap times. When the split
time button (10) is pressed while the watch is running, the display freezes,
allowing the elapsed time to that point to be read, but the watch mechanism
continues running to record total elapsed time. Pressing the split button (10) a
second time allows the watch to resume display and catch up to the ongoing
elapsed time.
How to use:
Press push-button (9) – the chronograph second hand will start instantly.
Press push-button (10) – the chronograph second hand will stop and enable
you to read an intermediate time, without interrupting timing. When you press
push-button (10) again, the chronograph hands resume and catch up to the
ongoing elapsed time.
When the event ends, press push-piece (9), the hand will stop and display the
exact elapsed time.
Press push-button (10) - the second and minute hands will reset. Measurement
and release of the split time can be repeated as many times as necessary by
pressing button 10.
Please ensure that all the chronograph counters are reset to “0” (12
o’clock) position before performing the time change and chronograph
functions.
