Montage und Anschluß:

Das Gerät ist entsprechend EN 60335-2-76 ausgelegt für den Betrieb von Taubenabwehran­lagen an Gebäuden. Das Gerät ist für Außen-oder Innenmontage geeignet. Bei Innenmonta­ge darf das Gerät nicht in feuergefährdeten Betriebsstätten montiert werden. Bei Außenmon­tage ist das Gerät senkrecht anzubringen. Die beiden Leiter der Taubenabwehranlage

(Zaunanlage) sind an die mit und gekennzeichneten Ausgangsklemmen anzuschlie­ßen.
Die mit gekennzeichnete Ausgangsklemme darf nicht geerdet werden.

Bei Innenmontage des Gerätes muß in jede Zuleitung zur Zaunanlage eine Blitzschutzan­lage außerhalb des Gebäudes angebracht werden. Wenn eine Gebäudeblitzschutzanlage
vorhanden ist, muß die Blitzschutzerde mit der Erdung der Blitzschutzanlage leitend verbun­den werden. Wenn keine Gebäudeblitzschutzanlage vorhanden ist, muß eine eigene Blitz­schutzerde verlegt werden. Die Blitzschutzanlage ist unter Beachtung der "Blitzschutzricht­linie" nach DIN VDE 0185 Teil 1 zu errichten.

Bei Außenmontage des Gerätes wird eine Blitzschutzanlage in jeder Zuleitung zur Zaunan-

lage empfohlen.
Bei batterie- oder solarbetriebenen Anlagen ist keine Blitzschutzanlage erforderlich.

Inbetriebnahme und Kontrolle bzw. Leistungsumschaltung mit arguswitch:

Die Netzversorgung herstellen, nach einigen Sekunden hört man ein gleichmäßiges Ticken,
das Gerät ist in Betrieb. Die Zaunkontrollampe leuchtet im Rhythmus der elektrischen Impulse
auf. Wenn eine Mindestspannung an der Zaunanlage unterschritten wird, erlischt die
Kontrollampe.

Mögliche Ursachen:

1) ohne Zaun: Gerät defekt, z.B. Sicherung unter dem Sichtfenster.

2) mit Zaun: leitende Verbindung zwischen den Leitern, Ansammlung von feuchtem
Laub, Schmutz, etc. auf und zwischen den Leitern, starke Feuchtigkeit.

Das Gerät hat zwei von außen schaltbare Leistungsstufen - siehe aufgedruckte Erläuterun­gen zum arguswitch. In der Position stark >dicker Pfeil< ist das Gerät so stark und
bewuchsunabhängig, daß die Zaunkontrollampe auch noch bei starkem Belag oder leitender
Verbindung zwischen den Leitern aufleuchtet. Der Zaunzustand kann somit nicht mehr
überprüft werden, die Zaunspannung ist praktisch immer wesentlich höher als 2000V. Wird
die Taste arguswitch gedrückt -gemäß dem Symbol- kann die Kontrolleuchte zur Kontrolle des
Zaunes benutzt werden. Mit der Taste arguswitch kann wahlweise eine schwächere Leistung
<dünner Pfeil> zugeschaltet werden.

Vorschriften: Das Gerät ist VDE-geprüft und funkentstört.

Service Netzgerät: 1 Sicherung (T500mA) und 3 steckbare Module ermöglichen einen

raschen, problemlosen Austausch bei Ihrem Fachhändler, siehe Auflistung der Art.-Nr. (siehe
Seite 8). Wenn die Anschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt wird, muß sie durch eine
besondere Anschlussleitung ersetzt werden, die vom Hersteller oder seinem Kundendienst
erhältlich ist.

Installation and connection

The electric fence controller is designed acc. EN 60335-2-76 to supply electric fences for
deterring pigeons from roosting on buildings. The installation can be made inside or outside
a building but not where there is a risk of fire. In case of outside installation the controller must
be mounted in the vertical position.

The two fence leads must be connected to the output terminals marked with and

The earth terminal ( ) must not be grounded.
In case of indoor installation each fence lead must be equipped with a lightning
suppression outside the building. If the building is protected with lightning arrestor installation
the earth of the fence arrestor must be connected to the earth of the building arrestor. If there
is no building arrestor a special grounding must be provided - be aware of possible
requirements of local authorities.

In case of energizer outdoor installation a lightning suppression in each lead is recommended.
Battery- and solar operated energizers need no lightning suppression.

Operation and control - handling the arguswitch

Plug the mains cable in a 220-240 supply socket. After a few seconds a slight tic-tac can be
heard. The fence control lamp flashes with the pulses. There will be no flashing if the fence
voltage drops below a minimum voltage of 2000 V.
possible reasons:

1) fence disconnected: controller faulty, check the fuse under the window.

2) fence attached: contact between the fence leads,

moist foilage, water,snow, dirt etc.

The controller has two output settings, see explanation sketch.
In position high > thick lightning arrow < the output is high enough to overcome a slight
connection between the fence leads - the fence control lamp remains flashing. The fence
cannot be checked, the fence voltage is still over 2000 V.
Pressing the arguswitch button acc. to the pictogramm now the lamp is able to detect fence

faults. A second option of the arguswitch is to switch the output to a reduced level > thin

lightning ar row <.

Requirements

The controller complies with the safety standard for electric fence controllers EN 60335-2­76 and the EMC standards - CE mark.

Service

A fuse ( T 500mA ) and plug in moduls can be replaced easily by your dealer - see list of
components. First of all check the fuse. If the supply cord is damaged this cord must be
replaced by a special supply cord which is recommended by the manufacturer.

Montage et raccordement:

L'appareil est conçu conformément au EN 60335-2-76 à l'emploi des installations de
protection des monuments contre les pigeons. L'appareil peut être monté dans un bâtiment
mais pas dans un lieu facilement inflammable. Lors d'un montage à l'extérieur l'appareil est
à fixer verticalement.

Les deux conducteurs de l'installation sont à raccorder aux bornes marquées et
La borne marquée ne doit pas être relier à la terre. Lors d'une installation à l'intérieur

d'un bâtiment il faut monter un jeu parafoudre à l'extérieur du bâtiment sur chaque ligne
d'amenée à l'installation de clôture. S'il y a une installation parafoudre du bâtiment, la terre
parafoudre doit être racordée de façon conductible avec la terre du jeu parafoudre. S'il
n'existe pas une installation parafoudre du bâtiment vous devez installer une autre terre
parafoudre. L'installation parafoudre doit être montée conformément au standard parafoudre
suivant DIN VDE 0185 section 1.

Lors d'une installation à l'extérieur d'un bâtiment il recommonder monter un jeu parafoudre
à l'extérieur du bâtiment sur chaque ligne d'amenée à l'installation de clôture.
Dans installation travailler avec pile ou technique solaire, il n'est pas nécessiter un
installation parafoudre.

Mise en service et contrôle, changement de puissance avec dispositif de sécurité
arguswitch (selecteur de puissance):

Raccorder au secteur. Quelques secondes après on entend un tic-tac régulier, l’appareil est
en marche. La lampe témoin de la clôture clignote à la cadence des impulsions électriques.
Si la clôture est s ous tension minimale, la lampe témoin s’éteint. Causes possibles:

1) Sans clôture: L’appareil est défectueux, par exemple le fusible sous le voyant.

2) Avec clôture: Végétation trop abondante ou court-circuit de la clôture au piquet

de métal.
L’électrificateur a 2 échelons de puissance changeables de l’extérieur. Voir explications sur
le dispositif de sécurité arguswitch. En position forte (flèche épaisse), l’appareil est si fort et
indépendant de la végétation que la lampe témoin luit même par végétation abondante ou
si le fil repose sur le sol. Ainsi l’état de la clôture ne peut plus être contrôlé. La tension de
la clôture est pratiquement toujours beaucoup plus forte que 2000 V. Si on appuie sur le
dispositif de sécurité arguswitch (d’après le symbole), on peut alors utiliser la lampe témoin
pour contrôler la clôture comme pour les appareils de la génération antérieure. Avec le
dispositif de sécurité arguswitch (selecteur de puissance) on peut changer, au choix, sur une
puissance plus faible (flèche fine).

Mise à la terre: Une bonne mise à la terre est particulièrement importante pour le bon
fonctionnement et la performance optimale de l’appareil.

Prescriptions: L'électrificateur est construit d’après les normes de sécurité. Il est antiparasité.
Boîte de courant de service:

Un fusible (T500mA) et 3 modules enfichables peuvent être échangés rapidement et sans
problème chez votre revendeur.
Voir page 8 - la liste des pièces de rechange correspondante avec le no. des articles.
Lorsque le fil est abimé; Il doit être remplacé par un produit recommandé par le
fabricant.
