SPIN SPEED CONTROL
ROTATES IN BOTH DIRECTIONS
The spin cycle is very important to remove as much water as possible from the laundry without damaging the fabrics. You can adjust the spin speed of the machine to suit your needs.
The final spin for strong fabrics at 400 rpm lasts 1´; at 850 rpm. (Mod. T 185 E/1), 1000 rpm. (Mod. T 205 E/1), 1200 rpm. (Mod. T 225 E/1 - T 120 E) lasts 3´.
By adjusting the control, it is possible to reduce the maximum speed, completely eliminating the spin (position ) if required.

EXTRA RINSE BUTTON
By pressing the “EXTRA RINSE” button, even the slightest residue of detergent is
removed from fabrics. This is particularly important for people with delicate skins.
EXTRA-DELICATE BUTTON
Press this button to reduce the number of drum revolutions from 55 to 40 revolutions per minute. This gives an extra-delicate wash, which is especially recommended for wool and very delicate fabrics. It is also recommended for mixed fabrics, articles which are not very dirty and for fabrics which do not need to be ironed.

DETERGENT DISPENSER
The detergent dispenser is divided into 4 compartments:
-COMPARTMENT I is for
prewash detergent, either liquid or powder.
-COMPARTMENT II is for wash
detergent.
1 For POWDERED
DETERGENT, the blue gate should be in the top position. To do this, pull the gate up.
2 For LIQUID DETERGENT,
the blue gate should be in the
bottom position. To do this, push the gate right down.
* Before doing this, check that there is no water remaining from the previous wash. If there is, drain the water by lifting the gate.
CAUTION: REMEMBER THAT SOME DETERGENTS DO NOT GET TAKEN AWAY EASILY BY THE WATER. IN THIS CASE, IT IS BEST TO PUT A "WASH BALL" STRAIGHT IN THE DRUM.
SELECTION
For the various types of fabrics and various degrees of dirt the washing machine has 3 different programme bands according to: wash cycle, temperature and length of cycle (see table of washing cycle programmes).
1 Strong Fabrics
The programmes have been designed for a maximum wash and rinses, with spin intervals, ensure perfect rinsing. The gradual reduction of the water
1
2
temperature ensures less creasing of fabrics.
2 Mixed and Synthetic Fabrics
Pre-wash and main wash give best results thanks to the rotation rhythms of the drum; the rinses with high water levels ensure delicate treatment and best results.
-The compartment is for
bleach.
-The compartment is for
special additives, fabric conditioners, scenting agents, starch, bluing agents, etc.

3 Special Delicate Fibres
This is a new wash cycle which alternates washing and soaking and is for very delicate fabrics such as Pure New Wool. The wash cycle and rinses are carried out with high water levels to ensure best results.
The programme for very delicate fabrics can be finished by selecting:
- discharge only or
- delicate spin The delicate spin programme is indispensable particularly for knitwear in order to avoid stretching during drying.
THE PRODUCT
IMPORTANT:
When washing heavy rugs, bed spreads and other heavy articles, it is advisable not to spin. To be machine-washed, woollen garments and other articles in wool must bear the “Pure New Wool” mark and the indication “will not shrink” or “machine washable”.
IMPORTANT: When sorting articles ensure that:
-there are no metal objects in the washing (e.g. brooches, safety pins, pins, coins etc.).
-cushion covers are buttoned, zips and hooks are closed, loose belts and long tapes on dressing gowns are knotted.
-runners from curtains are removed.
-attention is paid to garment labels.
-when sorting, any tough stains should be removed with special detergent or washing cream before loading.

DETERGENT
III
NOTE:
1. If the wash load is very dirty it is best to reduce the load weight to 3 kg.
2. Programmes 1, 2 have an automatic bleaching option. Simply place the bleaching agent in
the compartment.
3. The washing machine is designed to incorporate fabric softener automatically in the last
rinse of each washing cycle.
RAPID 32 MINUTE PROGRAMME
The rapid 32 minute programme enables a complete washing cycle for a maximum 2 kg wash at a temperature of 50°C to be carried out in 30 minutes. The temperature of
the wash can be reduced via the temperature selector knob. The soap powder must be loaded into the pre-wash dispenser (compartment I). The rapid 32 minute programme can also be used as a pre-wash cycle in the case of
a heavily soiled wash, following with the main programme as desired.
Programme *, according to EN 60456 Regulations
The first program in each group is the longest and thus ensures the most effective wash at a given temperature. The other programs should be selected for clothes which are only lightly solied or are particularly delicate.

WASHING
VARIABLE CAPACITY
This washing machine has been designed to try and reduce environmental contamination and alleviate existing ecological problems. With this in mind, this washing machine automatically adapts the water level to the type and quantity of clothes to be washed. So it is possible to obtain a "customised" wash, even in terms of energy. This system reduces water and energy consumption and provides an appreciable reduction in wash time.
When only a limited number of articles have stains which require treatment with liquid bleaching agents, preliminary removal of stains can be carried out in the washing machine. Pour the bleach into the special compartment and set the knob (A) on the special programme “ORGANIC STAINS”. When this phase has terminated add the rest of the washing and proceed with a normal wash on the most suitable programme.
It is advisable not to wash a load made up entirely of articles in towelling fabric which absorb a lot of water and become too heavy.
WATER LEVEL SENSOR
The maximum load for heavy fabrics is 5 kg, while, in the case of delicate fabrics, it is advisable not to exceed 2 kg (1 kg in the case of machine washable articles in “Pure New Wool”) so as to avoid the formation of creases which may be difficult to iron. A net bag
should be used for particularly delicate fabrics.
ATTENTION:
Read the chapter Description of the controls for instructions on how to open and close the drum.
IMPORTANT: WHEN SETTING THE PROGRAMME ENSURE THAT THE ON/OFF BUTTON IS NOT TURNED ON.
Select programme : Choose the programme by rotating the knob in a CLOCKWISE DIRECTION and make the number of the programme coincide with the sign.
• Select the wash temperature with the corresponding control .
• Select the spin speed with the corresponding control.

CLEANING AND ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Do not use abrasives, spirits on the exterior of the washingmachine. It is sufficient to use a damp cloth.
The washing machine requires very little maintenance:
• Cleaning of drawer compartments.
• Cleaning the filter.
• Removals or long periods when the machine is left standing.
CLEANING OF DRAWER COMPARTMENTS
It is advisable to clean the four compartments of the detergent dispenser from time to time : prewash, wash, bleach and fabric conditioner.
In the case of the prewash and wash compartments it is advisable to remove any dried. In remains of detergent which obstruct the flow of the detergent to drum.
In the case of the bleach and fabric conditioner compartments, the two traps M should be removed by turning them 90º anti-clockwise and pulling up on them.
Remove any solid residue which could block the holes in the compartments.
