Congratulations on your purchase of your new vacuum cleaner. There are many useful features built into your cleaner and we recommend that you carefully read this instruction book so that you may take best advantage of them.
This product must be operated in accordance with these instructions and used only for domestic cleaning to remove DRY dirt and dust from household carpets, fl ooring and fabrics.
This cleaner is intended for domestic household use only and is not designed for the collection of vitreous building material including particle board construction products and similar products such as wood/fi bres, sand, cement, fi llers, fi bre glass etc. The pickup of these materials may be harmful to your cleaner and will void the manufacturer’s warranty.

This will ensure you obtain full benefi t from your new cleaner. Keep this Instruction Book in a handy place for future reference.
IMPORTANT
Always switch the cleaner off and remove the plug from the electricity supply before cleaning your appliance, when not in use, or attempting any maintenance task. The cleaner must only be connected to an AC supply at the voltage shown on the rating plate. This cleaner should only be used for its intended purpose as described in these instructions. Never operate the vacuum cleaner without fi lters.
DO NOT pick up hard or sharp objects, matches, hot ashes, cigarette ends or similar items.
DO NOT pick up fl ammable liquids such as cleaning fl uids, petrol etc., or use in the presence of such vapors.
DO NOT use your cleaner out of doors or on any wet surface or for WET pick-up. DO NOT run over the power cable with the Power Brush. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Close attention is necessary when used near children. * This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
If using an extension cord please make sure that it is of an approved type and that it is fully extended. Failure to do so could cause your cleaner to overheat and damage it.

FAULTS
Do not continue to use this appliance if it appears to be faulty or the supply cord is damaged. If a fault cannot be rectifi ed, please return to the point of purchase. If damaged, return the cleaner for repair by an authorised Service Centre in order to avoid a safety hazard.
Consult the trouble shooting guide in this manual if your vacuum cleaner fails to operate properly. Contact an authorised service agent if the problem persists.
AFTER USE
Switch the cleaner off and remove the plug from the electricity supply. Always switch off and remove the plug before attaching any accessories or cleaning the appliance.
PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
When you have unpacked the unit, do not simply throw the packing into the household waste. Take them to an appropriate collecting point for the recycling.

PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
Motor does not start or stops.
Suction force gradually decreases
No power supply
Filters are dirty, suction hose or wand is blocked
Check cable, plug and socket. If still inoperative, contact service agent.
Clean or replace fi lters, remove objects from hose and wand.

1. Connect the hose body connector to th e cleaner.
ASSEMBLING YOUR CLEANER
The cleaner should be switched off and disconnected from the mains supply before you start to assemble.
3. Fit the other end of the telescopic wand to the hand piece.
5. Press the On/Off button to switch the appliance on.
2. Insert the wand into the fl oor brush.
4. Never extend the power cord further than the yellow mark.
6. Rotate the power regulation knob to adjust the performance of the appliance.

CLEANING THE CYCLONIC FILTER
The cleaner should be switched off and disconnected from the mains supply. Never operate without fi lters as damage to cleaner could occur.
1. To access fi lters move press the dust bin release button.
3. Ensure the dust bin is over a disposal area before releasing the cover.
5. To clean motor air inlet fi lter, lift off top and rinse in warm water. Allow to air dry for a minimum 24 hours. Filter must be completely Dry before refi tting
2. Once the dust bin is released, press the cover release button.
4. If there is dust on the fi lter, twist the container anti-clockwise to release the cover.
6. To clean dust fi lter, simply lift the fi lter out wipe with a cloth or simply rinse with warm water. Must be dry before refi tting

CHANGING OR CLEANING THE HEPA FILTER
The cleaner should be switched off and disconnected from the mains supply. Never operate without fi lters as damage to cleaner could occur.
Clean up the dust in the dust container regularily to avoid failure. When cleaning, avoid scrubbing with a brush as it may damage the fi lters. All fi lters must be allowed to air dry for minium 24 hours. Filter must be completely Dry before refi tting.
1. Remove fi lter cover by squeezing the tab on the rear of appliance.
2. Remove HEPA fi lter and replace, or rinse with warm water. Allow to dry for 24 hours.
