CHARGING THE M-PWR™ 40V BATTERY
NOTE: Batt eries are shippe d in a low charge co ndition to prev ent possible p roblems. You should c harge them be fore first use.
Only one ba ttery is cha rged at a time. W hen two bat teries are in pla ce, the batt ery with the m ost power re maining will be char ged first. Thi s
ensure s the f astest time t o full charge.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Chargin g a Hot Batt ery Pack:
When using a v acuum contin uously,
the bat tery may be come hot. A hot
batte ry may be plac ed directly o n the
charger bu t charging will n ot begin
until the ba ttery te mperatur e cools
to within an a cceptable t emperatu re
range. Wh en a hot batt ery is place d on
the charg er, the Yellow LED will re main
lit until the b attery i s cool enough to
begin charging.
Chargin g a Cold Batt ery Pack :
A cold bat tery may be pl aced direct ly
on the char ger but chargi ng will not
begin until t he batter y tempera ture
warms to wi thin an accep table
