Place the Hoolux device on top of the TV monitor as shown in the illustration.
Use the bottom clip to attach the device on top of the display. Please
remove the adhesive lm from the
inside of the bottom clip.
Please ensure the device is centered and attached securely.
The device can be tilted up and down from the bottom clip to ensure a better angle facing the patients in the waiting room.

It is very important that the device and TV monitor are facing the area of your waiting room which faces the majority of your patients. See the illustrations on the right to guide you.

Connect the device to a power outlet as shown in the illustrations.

Connect the device to the display using the HDMI cable provided.

We strongly advice you to use an Ethernet cable to connect the device to your router. While the device can connect using WiFi, lower speeds and connectivity issues may compromise performance.

Switch On the device.
While the device powers up, the monitor will display a loading animation. When the device
nishes loading the monitor will
display your Home Screen with the Hoolux Medical Icon.

Select the Hoolux Player App from the Home Screen.
Press OK on the remote to launch it.

This step is only necessary if you are connecting through WiFi.
Use the remote (arrows and OK button) to select the your WiFi network from the drop-down menu.
Enter your WPA (WiFi password) in the box provided.
Once the network is selected and the password is entered, click the NEXT button.

Please take note of your Pairing Key.
This key consists of 3 short words inside a dark gray box which will be required to login into your Hoolux Medical account from your computer.
As soon as you complete your registration the player will automatically connect to the
Hoolux network and nish the
device setup.

From your personal computer, please visit dr.hooluxmedical.com and login to the Hoolux Medical Portal. At this stage, you will have received a welcome email from Hoolux Medical containing your details for accessing the portal.
Please refer to the Help & Support section on page 20 if you experience any problems.
On successful login please follow the instructions in order to complete your device registration. These steps will include entering your Pairing Key (see page 13) and completing a form with information about your practice.

STAGE 1
Once you have logged into the Hoolux Medical portal, select DEVICES in the main navigation bar.
Here you will see a large yellow button that reads: ADD A NEW DEVICE TO MY ACCOUNT. Click on the button to proceed to the next stage.

STAGE 2
Here you will have to enter your Pairing Key (see page 13). This unique code is used to pair the device in your waiting room to your Hoolux Medical account.
Once completed, click CONTINUE.

STAGE 3
In order to complete your registration process you are
required to complete all elds
in the form.
Begin by entering a Device Name (a name chosen by you). The Device Name will help with identifying your device and can be used if you require any support.
After entering a Device Name we require you to provide us with an Average Number of Patients that visit the clinic per day. Please round this
gure to the nearest whole number.

Now we require you to provide your Medical Specialties; areas of medicine that your
practice specializes in. Click on the button that says “Open Specialties”, from the pop up please check the boxes that are relevant to your practice and when complete please click the SAVE button.
Finally you will need to register the Address at which the Device is housed. Once your address is provided click the SAVE DEVICE button and return to where the physical device is set up in your waiting room..

Once the registration is completed the device will automatically connect to the network, and will download and start playing the videos.

Mouse Arrow.
Press this button to load the
Home Screen.
Press OK to select.
Up / Down / Left / Right. Use the buttons
in the wheel to select and navigate through the home screen and application. When the Mouse Arrow is shown, use the buttons to move the cursor around the display.

• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit dierent from that towhich the receiver is connec ted.
