forms of Italian, French and Belgian origin
are accentuated by a wire brushed artisan
nish with a reclaimed character.
Both the light natural and dark espresso
nishes are on exotic and beautiful Acacia
wood, known for its rustic charm, tactile
hand, knots and color variations in serene
organic hues of gray, rose and natural. The
dark and light nishes can be eortlessly
mixed within a room for an eclectic feel.

Design
The Corsica story is told through table bases reminiscent of Romanesque architecture with a Gothic flair; graceful lines on
sculpted front panels, intricately hand-carved aprons and beautifully shaped cases.
Quality from start to nish
Of all the aspects of wood furniture, the finish most visibly reflects its character, quality and style. While the finish is one of the last things we do, it’s the
first thing you see. That’s why at Hooker, we utilize a multiple-step finish process of up to 16 finish steps. This results in an unsurpassed clarity, depth and
color richness and durability to our finishes. Through hand-craftsmanship such as rubbing and padding, our finishes “feel” as good as they look, with a
smoothness that is delightful to the touch.
Wood & Veneer Construction
Many of our furniture items are constructed of hardwood solids and veneers or hand-painted finishes over durable wood products such as medium
density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large
surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which
results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture. Due to a wide variety of wood species and decorative designs used in our furniture styles, variations in
construction are possible.

Finish
A wire-brushed, artisan finish with a reclaimed character defines the Corsica collection. Both the light natural and dark espresso finishes
are on exotic and beautiful Acacia wood, known for its rustic charm, tactile hand, knots and color variations in serene organic hues of gray,
rose and natural.

Corsica’s custom-designed, burnished bronze hardware includes a classic swing bail pull, a drop
bail with a unique stylized heart shape, a simple knob and a key inspired by an antique latch key.

• Full height, full depth and full width drawers for maximum storage capacity.
• All drawers have strong, time-tested English or French dovetail construction, for years of problem-free use.
• Plywood drawer bottoms are attached to plywood drawer sides for strength and durability.
• Our top-of-the-line bedroom collections include bottom drawers on major case pieces that are cedar-lined for the aromatic benefit and preservation of clothing.
• Some night stands offer receptacles on the back of case.

DINING
Create a casual, eclectic and engaging dining
experience for family and friends with Corsica’s
dining tables and chic upholstered dining chairs.
Architectural, sculpted pedestals are featured
on both the 54-inch round and the 78-inch
rectangular table. Each table is available in
the light natural or dark espresso nish. For an
eclectic approach, the tables are also oered
in a two-tone nish by contrasting the light
and dark nish on the table top and base. The
ellipse- back dining chair and squared-back
chair with nail head trim are also available in
either the dark or light nish to mix and match
with the table nish you select. The 72-inch
credenza is oered in the light, dark or twotone nish. The leg server and display cabinets
are each available in the light or dark nish.
