IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ AND SAVE THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS FAN
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
1.
Use this fan only as described in this manual. Other use not recommended may cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
2. This product is intended for household use ONLY and not for commercial, industrial or
outdoor use.
3. This product is intended for floor use ONLY.
4. To protect against electric shock, do not place
fan in window, immerse unit, plug or cord in water or spray with liquids.
5. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of shock, this plug is intended to fit only one way in a polarized outlet. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. safety fea

8. To disconnect the fan, first turn control to the OFF position, grip the plug and pull it from the
wall outlet. Never pull by the cord.
9. Do not operate the fan in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
10. Do not place the fan or any parts near an open flame, cooking or other heating appliance.
11. Do not operate the fan with a damaged cord or plug or if the product malfunctions, is dropped or damaged in any manner (see warranty).
12. Avoid contact with moving fan parts.
13. The use of attachments not recommended by
the manufacturer may be hazardous.
14. Place the fan on a dry level surface.
15. Turn the fan OFF and unplug it before
removing the fan grille. Do not plug in or operate the fan if the grille is removed or not properly assembled.
16. Do not operate if the fan housing is removed or damaged.
17. A loose fit between the AC outlet (receptacle) and plug may cause overheating and a distortion of the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to replace loose or worn outlet.

ASSEMBLY
• Remove the fan motor assembly, the base plate and the two feet from the package.
• Lay the fan motor assembly on its back
• Remove the plastic hand screws from the bottom of the fan motor assembly by turning them counter clockwise (Fig. 1 ).
• Holding the base plate, line up the threaded screws with the holes in the base, push base plate in.
• Tighten the hand screws onto the threaded screws protruding from the bottom of the base by turning clockwise (Fig. 2).

Feet Assembly
• Unscrew metal hand nuts counter clockwise from the base plate (Fig. 3).
• Align center holes of feet to the threaded rod on base plate (Fig. 4).
• Push feet into base plate and tighten hand nut clockwise until feet are secure. Please be careful not to over-tighten the hand screw (Fig. 5).

OPERATION

• For up and down positioning, pivot by adjusting the handle front to back (Fig. 7).
• To move the unit, turn the fans off, unplug the power cord and pick it up by the handle (Fig. 8).

CLEANING AND STORAGE
Unplug the fan before cleaning.
• Use only a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the fan clean.
• DO NOT immerse the fan in water and never allow water to drip into the motor housing.
• DO NOT use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the fan.
REMOVAL OF THE FRONT GRILLE FOR CLEANING
DO NOT remove the fan grille unless the fan’s power is turned off and the power cord is unplugged.
• Gently lay the fan face down on a table.
• Remove the front grille by unscrewing the 6 screws located on the back of the fan head (Fig. 9).
• Unscrew the screws using a standard phillips head screw driver ( ).
NOTE: The screws will remain attached to the rear housing to ensure they are not lost. Do not try to force the removal of the screws
• Lift the whole fan up by the handle to separate from the front grille.
• Gently wipe the fan blade and grilles with a cloth. DO NOT IMMERSE THE FAN IN WATER AND NEVER ALLOW WATER TO DRIP INTO THE MOTOR HOUSING. DO NOT USE GASOLINE, PAINT THINNER, OR OTHER CHEMICALS TO CLEAN THE FAN.
• Re-assemble the fan by replacing the front grille and aligning the screw holes between the front grille and the fan body (Fig. 10). Gently tighten the screws.
• For storage, clean the fan carefully as instructed. Store the fan in the original packaging or cover the product to protect it from dust. Store the fan in a cool, dry place.
