IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Before using this appliance, read through all the instructions
and only use accordingly.

2. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.

3. The appliance is intended only for use indoors, not for
outdoor use or commercial use.

4. Do not use the appliance anywhere near easily flammable
gases or substances such as solvents, lacquers, glues, etc.
Some of the internal parts can be hot and could throw sparks.

5. Do not position the appliance immediately below a power
socket.

6. Keep flammable materials at least 100cm away from the
heater. To prevent burns, do not allow bare skin to come in
contact with hot surfaces.

7.

Do not cover the appliance with anything, as indicated
by the symbol. This can lead to overheating, fire or electric
shocks. Ensure that the air intake and outlet vents are not
obstructed.

8. Do not use this appliance or the power cord if it is damaged
or shows signs of damage, or does not function properly.
Repairs must be carried out by manufacturer-approved
service centres.

9. Never touch the unit with wet hands.

10. The electrical installation which is to be connected must
conform with local regulation requirements.

11. Ensure that the unit is not accessible from the shower or
bathtub.

12. This unit has an IP24 protection level and is suitable for use
in bathrooms excluding Zones 1 & 2.

13. The panel may become very hot therefore caution is advised
when touching the unit while in operation.

14 In the event of overheating, the safety device on the

appliance automatically disables the heating elements. The
product will resume automatic operation as soon as the
temperature returns below the safety limit

WALL MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

For wall mounting details please refer to page 4 and 5 and follow
the instructions carefully. Not doing so may result in an instable
product.

Screws and brackets for mounting are included with the unit.

Only use the product in a horizontal position so that the air outlet
grille is at the top.

Never install the product on a surface made from wood or
synthetic material.

Always ensure that minimum distances are adhered to - see page 4.

One of the upper wall mounting brackets must be positioned
inside the control panel on the rear of the unit as indicated in
picture “II”.

Ensure that the lower mounting brackets on the bottom of the
unit are positioned in two different slots and not in the same one.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

Connect the product to the mains power supply using a 3-wire
cable (Brown=Live, Blue=Neutral, Black=Pilot wire) and a
connection box.

If you do not wish to use the pilot wire functions, connect the

phase and the neutral wires.

In bathrooms, kitchens or other humid areas, install the
connection terminal at least 25cm off the floor.

The electrical connection to the mains power supply must also

include a 2-pole switch with a minimum contact aperture of 3mm.

If the product is powered through a 30mA differential switch, make

sure the pilot wire is also controlled by the differential switch.

CONTROL PANEL

1. Power light
Red light indicates the product has not yet reached the

desired temperature. Orange light indicates the product has
reached the desired temperature. A flashing light indicates a
defective electronic sensor. The product needs to be repaired
by an authorised dealer.

2. Temperature Control
The temperature range lies between 10°C and 30°C. The

optimum combination between room temperature and
power consumption is indicated by the “comfort zone”. To
additionally use the frost watch function, ensure that this
function is chosen on the settings panel.

the room temperature 7°C +/- 3°C.

pilot wire or the remote control

4. On/Off switch
This switch activates and deactivates the product and should

only be used if the product will not be used for a longer
period of time. Turning the product off with this switch
results in the loss of internal autonomy and any pre­programmed information. The product can be set in standby
mode by pressing .

USING THE THERMOSTAT

Comfortable temperature setting:

1. Set the thermostat to maximum until comfortable
temperature has been reached.

2. Move the temperature slider to the left until the pilot light
turns orange.

3. Move the temperature slider a few mms to the right.

If the ambient temperature is above 30°C the product will not
function irrespective of the desired temperature setting.

Similarly if the ambient temperature is below 10°C the product

will function irrespective of the desired temperature setting.

USING THE (OPTIONAL) REMOTE CONTROL

The remote control enables a “comfort” or “eco” temperature
setting and can be programmed independently for every hour of
every day.

You can easily switch from the remote control to the pilot wire
and vice-versa.

With just one remote it is possible to programme several heaters.
All details about programming are included in the instruction

manual of the remote control. Remote control sold separately.

CLEANING

We recommend you to clean the appliance twice a year with a

vacuum cleaner.

USING THE PILOT WIRE

The behavior of the product depends on the voltage applied

between the pilot wire and the neutral wire, as shown in the
following table:

Note: the STOP input signal on the pilot wire will switch off the
product even if the mode selector is NOT in the “PROG” mode.

DISPOSAL

This symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that

the appliance cannot be treated as normal domestic waste
but must be handed in at a collection point for recycling

electric and electronic appliances.

Your contribution to the correct disposal of this product protects

the environment.
Further information about the recycling of this product can be

obtained from your local town hall, your refuse collection service,
or in the store at which you bought the product. This regulation
is valid only in EU member states.

Gerät in Betrieb nehmen und richten Sie sich genau danach.

2. Dieses Gerät ist nicht für die Benutzung durch Personen

13. Die Oberfläche des Geräts kann sich sehr stark erhitzen,
daher ist beim Berühren des eingeschalteten Gerätes
Vorsicht geboten.

14 Im Falle einer Überhitzung werden die Heizelemente

des Gerätes durch die eingebaute Sicherheitsschaltung
automatisch abgeschaltet. Das Produkt nimmt danach den
Betrieb automatisch wieder auf, sobald die Temperatur
unter den Sicherheitsgrenzwert gesunken ist.

INSTRUKTIONEN FÜR WANDMONTAGE

Für Details zur Wandmontage schauen Sie bitte auf die Seiten 4
und 5 und befolgen Sie genau die Anweisungen. Nichtbeachten
kann ein unstabiles Produkt zur Folge haben.

Die für die Montage notwendigen Schrauben und Halterungen
sind dem Gerät beigefügt.

Verwenden Sie das Gerät in horizontaler Lage, so dass das
Luftauslassgitter oben liegt.

Das Produkt nie auf einer Oberfläche aus Holz oder
synthetischem Material installieren.

Stellen Sie stets sicher, dass die Mindestabstände eingehalten

werden - siehe Seite 4.
Eine der oberen Wandmontagehalterungen muss in dem

Bedienfeld auf der Rückseite des Geräts angebracht werden, wie
es in Abbildung “II” zu sehen ist.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass die unteren Montagehalterungen am

unteren Teil des Gerätes in zwei unterschiedlichen Schlitzen
stecken und nicht im gleichen.

Siehe dazu Detail von Abbildung “II” auf Seite 5.

ELEKTRISCHER ANSCHLUSS

Schließen Sie das Produkt mit einem dreiadrigen Kabel
(braun = Phase, blau = Nullleiter, schwarz = Steuerleitung)

und einer Anschlussdose an das Stromnetz an.
Wenn Sie die Steuerleitungsfunktionen nicht nutzen wollen,

schließen Sie nur den Phasen- und den Nullleiter an.

Installieren Sie die Anschlussdose in Badezimmern, Küchen oder
anderen Feuchträumen mit mindestens 25 cm Bodenabstand.

Der elektrische Anschluss an das Stromnetz muss außerdem über
einen zweipoligen Schalter mit einer minimalen Kontaktöffnung
von 3 mm verfügen.

Wird das Produkt über einen 30 mA Differenzialschalter
betrieben, stellen Sie sicher, dass auch die Steuerleitung über den
Differenzialschalter versorgt wird.

BEDIENFELD

1. Betriebsanzeige

Ein rotes Licht bedeutet, dass das Produkt noch nicht die

gewünschte Temperatur erreicht hat. Ein orangefarbenes
Licht bedeutet, dass das Produkt die gewünschte Temperatur
erreicht hat. Ein blinkendes Licht weist auf einen fehlerhaften
elektronischen Sensor hin. Das Produkt muss dann durch
einen Vertragshändler repariert werden.

2. Temperatursteuerung

Der Temperaturbereich liegt zwischen 10°C und 30°C.

Die optimale Kombination aus Raumtemperatur und
Energieverbrauch wird durch die “Comfort Zone”
angezeigt. Um darüber hinaus die Frostschutzfunktion zu
verwenden, stellen Sie sicher, dass diese Funktion auf dem
Einstellungsfeld ausgewählt ist.

4. Ein/Aus-Schalter

Mit diesem Schalter kann das Produkt ein- und ausgeschaltet

werden. Dieser sollte nur betätigt werden, wenn das Produkt
für längere Zeit nicht genutzt wird. Durch das Ausschalten
des Produkts sind die automatischen Funktionen außer
Betrieb und Voreinstellungen gehen verloren. Das Produkt
kann in den Stand-by-Modus geschaltet werden, durch
Drücken von .

VERWENDUNG DES THERMOSTATEN

Einstellung auf angenehme Raumtemperatur:

1. Schieben Sie den Thermostaten auf Maximalstellung, bis die
für Sie angenehme Temperatur erreicht ist.

2. Schieben Sie dann den Temperaturschieber nach links, bis die
Steuerleuchte orange leuchtet.

3. Schieben Sie danach den Temperaturschieber einige Millimeter
nach rechts.

Bei einer Raumtemperatur von über 30°C funktioniert das Produkt
nicht, unabhängig von der Temperatureinstellung.

Gleichermaßen arbeitet das Produkt bei einer Raumtemperatur
unter 10°C, unabhängig von der Temperatureinstellung.

VERWENDUNG DER (ALS ZUBEHÖR

ERHÄLTLICHEN) FERNBEDIENUNG

Mit der Fernbedienung kann eine “Comfort” oder eine “Eco”-

Temperatureinstellung vorgenommen und unabhängig für jede

gewünschte Stunde und jeden gewünschten Tag programmiert
werden.

Sie können ganz einfach von der Fernbedienung zur
Steuerleitung und zurück schalten.

Mit einer Fernbedienung können mehrere Heizgeräte
programmiert werden. Alle Einzelheiten über das Programmieren
befinden sich in der Bedienungsanleitung der Fernbedienung.
Fernbedienung wird separat verkauft.

REINIGUNG

Wir empfehlen, das Gerät zweimal im Jahr mit einem

Staubsauger zu reinigen.

VERWENDUNG DER STEUERLEITUNG

Das Verhalten des Produkts richtet sich nach der Spannung, die
zwischen der Steuerleitung und dem Nullleiter anliegt, wie in
folgender Tabelle dargestellt:

Hinweis: Das Eingangssignal STOP an der Steuerleitung schaltet
das Produkt aus, auch wenn der Moduswahlschalter NICHT im

“PROG”-Modus ist.

l’utilisation de cet appareil par une personne responsable
de leur sécurité. Les enfants doivent être surveillés afin de
s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.

3. L’appareil est conçu pour être utilisé en intérieur uniquement,

Zones 1 & 2.

13. La façade pouvant devenir très chaude il est conseillé de
faire attention lorsque vous touchez l’appareil quand il est
en marche.

14 En cas de surchauffe, le dispositif de sécurité de l’appareil

arrêtera les éléments de chauffe automatiquement. Le
produit se remettra automatiquement en marche lorsque
la température sera redescendue en dessous de la limite de
sécurité.

INSTRUCTIONS DE MONTAGE AU MUR

Pour des détails concernant le montage au mur veuillez vous
référer aux pages 4 et 5 et suivre les instructions attentivement.
Ne pas s’y conformer peut causer l’instabilité du produit.

Les vis et les supports de montage sont fournis avec l’appareil.
Utilisez le produit en position horizontale de façon à ce que la

grille d’échappement de l’air soit au dessus.
N’installez jamais l’appareil sur une surface en bois ou en matière

synthétique.
Assurez-vous que les distances minimales sont toujours respectées

- voir en page 4.
L’un des supports de fixation supérieurs doit être placé à

l’intérieur du panneau de commande à l’arrière de l’appareil
comme indiqué sur le dessin “I I”)

Vérifiez que les supports de fixation au bas de l’appareil sont
positionnés dans deux encoches différentes et non dans la même.

BRANCHEMENT ELECTRIQUE

Branchez le produit au courant principal à l’aide d’un câble à trois
fils (Marron=Phase, Bleu=Neutre, Noir Fil Pilote) et d’une borne
de raccordement.

Si vous ne souhaitez pas utiliser les fonctions du fil pilote,
connectez les fils phase et neutre.

Dans les salles de bains, les cuisines ou autres endroits humides,
installez la borne de raccordement à au moins 25 cm du sol.

Le branchement sur l’alimentation éléctrique principale doit

Si le produit est branché sur un interrupteur différentiel bipolaire,
vérifiez que le fil pilote est également contrôlé par l’interrupteur
différentiel.

PANNEAU DE COMMANDE

1. Témoin lumineux d’alimentation.

Le témoin lumineux rouge indique que l’appareil n’a pas

encore atteint la température souhaitée. Le témoin lumineux
orange indique que l’appareil a atteint la température
souhaitée. Un témoin lumineux clignotant signale un capteur
électronique défectueux. Le produit doit être réparé par un
revendeur autorisé.

2. Contrôle de la température.

La température varie entre 10°C et 30°C. La combinaison

idéale entre la température de la pièce et la consommation
de courant est indiquée par la “zone de confort”. Pour utiliser
également la fonction détecteur de gel, vérifiez que cette
fonction est sélectionnée sur le panneau de commandes.

4. Interrupteur Marche/Arrêt

Cet interrupteur active ou désactive le produit et ne doit être

utilisé que dans le cas où le produit ne sera pas utilisé
pendant une période prolongée. Arrêter le produit avec cet
appareil signifie la perte d’autonomie interne et toute
information pré-programmée. Le produit peut être réglé sur
le mode standby en appuyant sur .

UTILISATION DU THERMOSTAT

Réglage de la température de confort:

1. Mettre le thermostat au maximum jusqu’à ce que la
température de confort ait été atteinte.

2. Déplacez le curseur de réglage de la température vers la
gauche jusqu’à ce que le témoin lumineux du pilote devienne
orange.

3. Déplacer le curseur de réglage de la température de quelques
millimètres vers la droite.

Si la température ambiante est supérieure à 30°C le produit ne
fonctionnera pas peu importe le degré de température souhaité.
