Wear Protective Clothing
Wearing protective clothing will reduce your risk of injury. Long pants and eye protection reduce the risk of injuries from thrown objects. Sturdy shoes with aggressive soles will help protect your feet and give you better traction on slopes or uneven ground. Clothing worn by the operator should be fairly tight and
belted. Loose clothing should not be permitted because of the danger of getting into moving parts. Tie up or restrain long hair.
Turn Engine
If you need to leave the sweeper for any reason, even just to inspect the area ahead, always turn the engine
