OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Auto-Dimming:
1. Look for a green LED light in the small aperture at the left side of the display window.
3. The auto-dimming feature is now on. The mirror will automatically dim to the appropriate level when glare from following vehicles’ headlights is present at night.
Compass Display Options:
1. Look for display in lower center of mirror.
2. If display is not on, depress the switch on the right side of the display window. The switch will toggle the display between the compass direction and no display.

Compass Zone Adjustment:
1. The zone setting is factory preset to Zone 8. Refer to the Compass Calibration Zone map to verify the correct compass zone setting for your geographical location.
2. Push and hold the switch on the right side of the display window until the word ZONE appears in the display.
3. Press the switch repeatedly until the correct compass zone setting for your geographical location is displayed.
4. The display will change back to the compass direction after 3 seconds if the switch is not activated.
Compass Calibration Adjustment:
The compass function calibrates itself under normal driving and turning conditions. However, circumstances occasionally arise which may cause the compass to display inaccurately. To reset the compass, follow these instructions:
1. Drive to an open, level area away from large metallic objects or structures.
2. Push and hold the button on the left side of the display window until the CAL icon appears in the display. Release the switch to enter the calibration mode.
3. Drive slowly in two to three circles until the CAL icon disappears from the display.
4. The compass calibration procedure is now complete.
