HE-106 Remote Control
Door Release
The HE-106 Remote control Door Release allows to you unlock and allow access control to a variety of aluminium, timber and steel doors. Simply press the button on your HomeEasy remote to unlock your door

Installation:
HE106 Door Release:
First select a suitable location for the HE-106 door release unit, it is recommended that HE-106 is not placed in direct sources of sunlight, heat and onto metallic surfaces, as this will the effect the operating performance. Before fitting the door release unit, test the unit to make sure the location is suitable e.g. operating the unit through an external wall will reduce the operating range, if required move the unit close to the external wall. The HE-106 is an accessory product
1: The HE-106 base plate, can be attached using either the self adhesive strip or screws.
Compatible with HE100, HE,101, HE300 HE301, HE303, HE307 & HE308 Remote Controls
-Suitable for right, left, inward and outward opening doors.

The HE-106 is an accessory product for the HomeEasy range of products, an additional remote control unit is required for the HE106 door release to operate.

2: Clip the HE-106 onto the base plate using the key-hole slots.
3: Connect the SX37 power adapter into the terminal connections "1" and "2" as per the diagram. Terminal 1 + wire

4: Plug the SX37 power adapter into a standard 13amp socket, the HE-106 will beep twice and the LED will flash to indicate that the power is connected. Now program a HomeEasy remote control to the HE-106 unit
-See Pairing/Deleting Remote Control (Remote Control Not Included).
5: Install the HomeEasy Door Lock into the door frame, making sure the location and orientation is correct for the door. The HomeEasy Door lock is powered by a 12VAC -300mA transformer (not included), connect one terminal from the transformer to one of the terminals on the door lock.

6: Connect the second wire from the transformer to terminal 4 on the HE106 and the connect a wire from terminal 5 to the second terminal on the HomeEasy Door Lock. Then set all the dip-switchs to the "Off" position.

Operation:

Test Mode:
Press the "On button on a paired HomeEasy Remote Control. For the HE-100 press and hold the lock key.
Press the "Off" button on a paired HomeEasy Remote Control. If no lock command is received, the HE-106 it will automatically lock after 30 seconds. For the HE-100 release the lock key.
The HE-106 can be set into a test mode by setting dip-switch 2 to the "On" position.
Pairing/Deleting with Remote Control:
Up to Six remote control units can be paired with the HE-106 unit. To program a HomeEasy Remote Control with the HE-106, set dip-switch 1 to the "On" position and then press the "On" button on the HomeEasy remote control (Except HE200 Remote Control).

The HE-106 will bleep twice to indicate that the remote control is paired to the HE-106, now set dip-switch 1 back to the "Off" position. The HE-106 can be tested by pressing the "On" button on the remote control.
Deleting Remote Control:
To delete a remote control that has been paired with a HE-106, set dip-switch 1 into the "On" position and then press the "Off" on the paired remote control. The HE-106 will bleep twice to indicate that the remote control bas been deleted from the memory of the HE-106, now set dip-switch 1 back to the "Off" position.
HE-106 Memory Reset:
To delete all the remote control units paired with a HE-106, set all the dip-switches into the "On" position, remove the SX37 from the socket and wait for 10 seconds. The LED light will stay on and the unit will bleep twice, now set all the dip-switches to the "Off" position, the led will now flash once every 3 seconds and make a long continuous bleep. The HE-106 has now been reset.

The HE-106 will make 3 short bleeps when a "On/Off" command is received, while in the test mode the door lock will not operate. To exit the test mode set dip-switch 2 to the "Off" position.
