WHEN USING ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS, ESPECIALLY WHEN

• ALWAYS unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using and before
cleaning. To disconnect, turn all controls to the ‘OFF’ position, then remove plug from outlet.
• NEVER leave an appliance unattended when plugged in. Unplug from the mains outlet when
not in use and before putting on or taking off parts or attachments.
• Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on or near children, invalids or
disabled persons.
• DO NOT reach for an appliance that has fallen in water or other liquids. Switch off at the
mains and unplug it immediately. Keep dry – DO NOT operate in wet or moist conditions.
• NEVER insert pins or other metallic fasteners into the appliance.
• Use this appliance for the intended use as described in this booklet. DO NOT use
attachments not recommended by HoMedics.
• NEVER operate the appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if
it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Return it to the HoMedics Service
Centre for examination and repair.
• Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
• Excessive use could lead to the product’s excessive heating and shorter life. Should this
occur, discontinue use and allow the unit to cool before operating.
• NEVER drop or insert any object into any opening.
• DO NOT operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is
being administered.
• DO NOT operate under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire,
electrocution or injury to persons.
• DO NOT carry this appliance by the cord or use cord as a handle.
• DO NOT use outdoors.
• DO NOT crush. Avoid sharp folds.
• This product requires a 230V AC power supply.
• DO NOT attempt to repair the appliance. There are no user serviceable parts. For service,
send to a HoMedics Service Centre. All servicing of this appliance must be performed by
authorised HoMedics service personnel only.

• This appliance should NEVER be used by any individual suffering from any physical ailment

that would limit the user’s capacity to operate the controls or who has sensory deficiencies in
the lower half of their body.
• NEVER use directly on swollen or inflamed areas or skin eruptions.
• If you feel any discomfort whilst using this appliance, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
• This is a non-professional appliance, designed for personal use and intended to provide a
soothing massage to worn muscles. DO NOT use as a substitute for medical attention.
• DO NOT use before going to bed. The massage has a stimulating effect and can delay sleep.
• Do not use for longer than the recommended time.
Massage Function
NOTE: Always ensure the appliance is set to the ‘OFF’
before inserting the plug into a mains outlet.
1. Plug the appliance into a 230V 0.4A mains outlet and switch on.
2. Slide the power switch upwards to start the massage. Slide up
one (I) position for low intensity setting and two (II) positions for high intensity setting.
3. Apply the massager head lightly to the area you wish to treat. Move the unit slowly, holding
it over the targeted area. Treat the area for a short period of time and move to another area.
NEVER treat the same area for longer than 3 minutes.
4. To turn the unit off, slide the power switch downwards to the ‘OFF’ position.

1. Attach the red massage head as described in the ‘Changing Attachments’ section above.
2. First activate the massage function as described above. Then slide the ‘Heat’ switch upwards
to active the heat. Allow a few minutes for the heat to fully activate.
3. To turn the heat off, slide the switch downwards to the ‘OFF’ position.
Width Adjustment Funtion
The spacing between the massage heads can be adjusted to fit various
body frames and areas (See Figure 2). Turn the unit on and simply push
the button on the under side of the massager to adjust the space
between the massage heads (See Figure 3). They will continue to cycle
in and out as long as the button is held down. As soon as you find your
desired spacing for maximum comfort, release the button.
NOTE:
• To eliminate risk of being burned, only use the heat function with the
red heat attachment.
• The Heat function will only work when the massage is in use.
• DO NOT use the massage or heat functions continuously for more
than 15 minutes.
• DO NOT use the massager directly on one concentrated area of the
body. Percussion action massagers are designed to be used in a
continuous motion, constantly changing the massage area.

Changing Attachments
To change the attachments, simply twist off (anti-clockwise)
the set that is attached to the unit and twist on (clockwise)
the desired set. (See Figure 1)

Cleaning
Unplug the appliance and allow to cool before cleaning. Clean only with a soft, slightly
damp sponge.
• Never allow water or any other liquids to come into contact with the appliance.
• Do not immerse in any liquid to clean.
• Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, glass / furniture polish, paint thinner etc to clean.
Storage
Place the appliance in its box or in a safe, dry, cool place. Avoid
contact with sharp edges or pointed objects which might cut or
puncture the fabric surface. To avoid breakage, DO NOT wrap
the power cord around the appliance. DO NOT hang the unit by
the cord.
Plug (MODEL PA-100H-3GB ONLY)
If the plug on this appliance is damaged, it can be replaced
with a BS 1363 plug, fitted with a 3A BS 1362 fuse. Only use a
3amp fuse with this appliance. Care must be taken when
changing the plug. If in doubt, contact a qualified electrician.

PRENDRE DES PRÉCAUTIONS DE BASE, NOTAMMENT DE SUIVRE LA
PROCÉDURE SUIVANTE :
• TOUJOURS débrancher l’appareil de la prise électrique immédiatement après utilisation et
avant tout nettoyage. Pour l’éteindre, positionner tous les boutons de réglage sur ‘OFF’, puis
retirer la prise du secteur.
• NE JAMAIS laisser un appareil sans surveillance lorsqu’il est branché. Débrancher de la
prise secteur quand il n’est pas utilisé ou avant d’adjoindre ou de retirer des pièces
ou accessoires.
• Une étroite surveillance est nécessaire lorsque cet appareil est utilisé par, sur ou à proximité
d’enfants, de personnes invalides ou handicapées.
• NE PAS toucher un appareil qui est tombé dans l’eau ou tout autre liquide. Couper le secteur
et débrancher immédiatement. Le maintenir au sec – NE PAS le faire fonctionner dans des
conditions d’humidité ou de moiteur.
• Ne JAMAIS insérer d’épingles ou d’autres fixations métalliques dans l’appareil.
• Utiliser cet appareil selon le mode d’emploi inclus et spécifique à celui-ci. NE PAS utiliser
d’accessoires non recommandés par HoMedics.
• Ne JAMAIS mettre en marche l’appareil en cas de cordon ou de connecteur endommagé, en
cas de fonctionnement incorrect, en cas de chute ou de détérioration ou de chute dans l’eau.
Le retourner au Centre Service HoMedics en vue de contrôle et de réparation.
• Maintenir le cordon à l’écart des surfaces chauffées.
• Une utilisation excessive pourrait entraîner une surchauffe et écourter la durée de vie du
produit. Si cela se produit, espacer les cycles d’utilisation pour que l’appareil refroidisse entre
chaque opération.
• Ne JAMAIS faire tomber ou insérer tout objet dans l’une ou l’autre des ouvertures.
• Ne jamais obturer les sorties d’air de l’appareil, ni le placer sur une surface non rigide, telle
qu’un lit ou un canapé. Maintenir les sorties d’air exemptes de peluches, cheveux, etc.
• NE PAS faire fonctionner dans des endroits où des produits aérosols (vaporisateurs) sont
utilisés ou de l’oxygène est administré.
• NE PAS faire fonctionner sous une couverture ou un oreiller. Cela pourrait provoquer une
surchauffage ou un risque d’incendie, d’électrocution ou de dommages corporels.
• NE PAS transporter l’appareil à l’aide du cordon ou en l’utilisant comme une poignée.
• NE PAS utiliser à l’extérieur.
• Ce produit nécessite une source d’alimentation en courant alternatif 230V.
• NE PAS essayer de réparer l’appareil. Aucune pièce ne peut être remise en état par
l’utilisateur. L’envoyer à un Centre Service HoMedics pour réparation. Tout dépannage de cet
appareil doit être réalisé uniquement pas un personnel de service HoMedics agréé.
D’UTILISER L’APPAREIL.
• Si vous avez un problème de santé, demandez conseil à un médecin avant d’utiliser
cet appareil.
• Il est conseillé aux personnes ayant un pacemaker et aux femmes enceintes de demander
conseil à un médecin avant d’utiliser cet appareil.
• NE PAS utiliser sur un enfant, une personne invalide, endormie ou inconsciente.
NE PAS utiliser sur un épiderme insensible ou sur une personne soufrant d’une mauvaise
circulation sanguine.
• Utiliser les surfaces chauffées avec précaution. Si le produit devient excessivement chaud,
débrancher la prise secteur et contacter le Centre Service HoMedics.
• Cet appareil ne doit JAMAIS être utilisé par toute personne souffrant de tout trouble physique
susceptible de limiter l’aptitude de l’utilisateur à manier les boutons de réglage ou souffrant
de déficiences sensorielles au niveau de la partie inférieure du corps.
• Ne JAMAIS utiliser sur des zones enflées ou enflammées ou sur une peau boutonneuse.
• En cas de gêne durant l’utilisation de l’appareil, interrompre les séances et consulter votre
médecin traitant.
• Il s’agit d’un appareil non professionnel, destiné à un usage personnel et conçu pour
procurer un massage apaisant des muscles fatigués. NE PAS utiliser en substitution d’un
traitement médical.
• NE PAS utiliser avant d’aller se coucher. Le massage a un effet stimulant qui peut retarder
l’endormissement.
• Ne pas dépasser la durée d’utilisation recommandée.

REMARQUE : Toujours s’assurer que l’appareil est réglé sur la
position ‘OFF’ avant de brancher sur le secteur.
1. Brancher l’appareil à une prise électrique 230V et mettre en marche.
2. Faire glisser l’interrupteur vers le haut pour mettre en marche le masseur. Glisser sur position
Un (I) pour régler sur intensité faible et sur position Deux (II) pour régler sur intensité élevée.
3. Appliquer la tête du masseur légèrement sur la zone que vous souhaitez traiter. Déplacer
lentement l’élément, en le maintenant au-dessus de la zone visée. Traiter la zone pendant une
courte durée, puis déplacer vers une autre zone. Ne JAMAIS traiter la même zone pendant
plus de 3 minutes.
4. Pour arrêter l’appareil, glisser l’interrupteur vers le bas, en position ‘OFF’.

Changement d’accessoires
Pour changer les accessoires, dévisser simplement (dans le sens
inverse des aiguilles d’une montre) l’ensemble fixé à l’appareil
et visser (dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre) l’ensemble
souhaité. (Voir Figure 1)

Fonction Chauffe
1. Attacher la tête de massage rouge selon la procédure décrite dans la section ‘Changement
d’accessoires’ ci-dessus.
2. Activer d’abord la fonction Massage comme détaillé ci-dessus. Puis faire glisser le bouton
‘Chauffe’ vers le haut pour activer la chaleur. Attendre quelques minutes pour que la chaleur
se diffuse.
3. Pour arrêter l’appareil, glisser l’interrupteur vers le bas, en position ‘OFF’.
Fonction réglage largeur
Il est possible de régler l’écartement entre les têtes de massage pour
adapter aux diverses morphologies et zones corporelles (voir Figure 2).
Allumez l’appareil et appuyez sur le bouton situé sous le masseur pour
régler l’écartement entre les têtes de massage (voir Figure 3). Vous
pouvez les rapprocher ou les écarter tout en maintenant le bouton
enfoncé. Dès que vous avez trouvé l’écartement idéal pour un maximum
de confort, relâchez le bouton.
REMARQUE :
• Pour éliminer tout risqué de brûlure, n’utiliser la fonction ‘chauffe’
qu’avec l’accessoire chauffant rouge.
• La fonction ‘Chauffe’ ne fonctionnera que si le massage est activé.
• NE PAS utiliser les fonctions ‘massage’ et ‘chauffe’ en continu pendant
plus de 15 minutes.
• NE PAS utiliser le masseur directement sur une zone concentrée du corps. Les
masseurs à percussion sont conçus pour être utilisés en un mouvement continu, en
changeant constamment de zone de massage.

ENTRETIEN:
Nettoyage
Débrancher l’appareil et le laisser refroidir avant de le nettoyer. Utiliser uniquement une éponge
souple légèrement humidifiée pour le nettoyage.
• Ne jamais mettre l’appareil en contact avec de l’eau ou tout autre liquide.
• Ne pas le nettoyer en l’immergeant dans un liquide.
• Ne jamais utiliser de brosses, produits abrasifs, lustrant pour vitre/mobilier, décapant peinture,
etc. pour le nettoyage.
Rangement
Ranger l’appareil dans son carton d’emballage ou dans un endroit frais, sec et sûr. NE PAS
enrouler le cordon d’alimentation autour de l’appareil pour éviter tout dégât. NE PAS le
suspendre par le fil électrique.

• Ziehen Sie IMMER sofort nach der Benutzung und vor dem Säubern des Gerätes den
Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. Stellen Sie zum Ausschalten alle Regler in die AUS (OFF)Stellung, dann ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

• Lassen Sie ein eingeschaltetes Gerät NIEMALS unbeaufsichtigt. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker,
wenn Sie es nicht benutzen und bevor Sie Teile oder Zubehör hinzufügen oder entfernen.
• Besondere Aufmerksamkeit ist notwendig, wenn das Gerät von, für oder in der Nähe von
Kindern, versehrten oder körperlich behinderten Personen verwendet wird.
• Berühren Sie KEIN Gerät, das ins Wasser oder in andere Flüssigkeiten gefallen ist. Schalten
Sie das Netz ab und ziehen Sie sofort den Stecker. Bewahren Sie es trocken auf – benutzen
Sie es NICHT unter nassen oder feuchten Bedingungen.
• Stecken Sie KEINE Nadeln oder andere metallische Klammern in das Gerät.
• Benutzen Sie dieses Gerät nur für den hierin beschriebenen vorgesehenen Zweck. Benutzen
Sie NUR von HoMedics empfohlene Zusatzgeräte.
• Benutzen Sie das Gerät NIEMALS, wenn das Kabel oder der Stecker beschädigt sind, wenn
es nicht ordnungsgemäß funktioniert, wenn es fallen gelassen oder beschädigt wurde oder
ins Wasser gefallen ist. Schicken Sie es zur Prüfung und Reparatur ins HoMedics Service
Centre zurück.
• Legen Sie das Kabel nicht auf heiße Flächen.
• Eine zu lange Benutzung könnte zu übermäßiger Erwärmung des Produkts und einer
verkürzten Lebensdauer führen. In solch einem Fall unterbrechen Sie den Betrieb und lassen
Sie das Gerät vor erneuter Benutzung abkühlen.
• Stecken Sie KEINE Dinge in irgendwelche Öffnungen.
• Versperren Sie niemals die Luftöffnungen des Gerätes und legen Sie es auf keine weiche
Oberfläche, wie z.B. ein Bett oder eine Couch. Verstopfen Sie die Luftöffnungen nicht mit
Fusseln, Haaren usw.
• Benutzen Sie es NICHT dort, wo Aerosol-(Spray)-Produkte verwendet werden oder wo mit
Sauerstoff gearbeitet wird.
• Benutzen Sie es NICHT unter einer Decke oder einem Kissen. Bei übermäßigem Aufheizen
kann es zu Bränden, Tod durch Stromschlag oder Personenschaden kommen.
• Tragen Sie dieses Gerät NICHT am Kabel an und benutzen Sie das Kabel NICHT als Griff.
• Benutzen Sie es NICHT im Freien.
• Dieses Produkt benötigt ein 230V-AC-Netzteil.
• Versuchen Sie NICHT, das Gerät selbst zu reparieren. Es gibt keine Teile, die der Nutzer selbst
reparieren kann. Senden Sie es zur Reparatur an das HoMedics Service Centre. Alle
Reparaturen an diesem Gerät dürfen nur durch Fachleute, die von HoMedics autorisiert sind,
vorgenommen werden.
• Sollten Sie vor der Verwendung dieses Gerätes gesundheitliche Bedenken haben,
konsultieren Sie zuerst einen Arzt.
• Personen mit Herzschrittmachern und Schwangere sollten vor der Benutzung dieses
Gerätes einen Arzt konsultieren.
• Benutzen Sie es NICHT bei Kleinkindern, körperbehinderten, schlafenden oder
bewusstlosen Personen. Benutzen Sie es nicht bei empfindlicher Haut oder bei Personen
mit schwachem Blutkreislauf.
• Besondere Vorsicht ist bei erwärmten Oberflächen notwendig. Wenn sich das Gerät
übermäßig heiß anfühlt, schalten Sie es vom Netz ab und informieren Sie das HoMedics
Service Centre.
• Dieses Gerät sollte NIEMALS von Personen mit körperlichen Beschwerden, die die Fähigkeit
zur Bedienung der Regler einschränken, oder die an Sinnesstörungen in der unteren
Körperhälfte leiden, benutzt werden.
• Benutzen Sie es NIEMALS direkt auf geschwollenen oder entzündeten Körperteilen
oder Hauteruptionen.
• Sollten Sie sich bei der Benutzung dieses Gerätes unwohl fühlen, unterbrechen Sie die
Benutzung und konsultieren Sie einen Arzt.
• Es ist ein nicht berufsmäßig verwendetes Gerät, das für die persönliche Benutzung bestimmt
ist und es soll eine beruhigende Massage für erschöpfte Muskeln bieten. Benutzen Sie es
NICHT als Ersatz für medizinische Behandlung.
• Benutzen Sie es NICHT, bevor Sie ins Bett gehen. Die Massage hat eine stimulierende
Wirkung und kann das Einschlafen verzögern.
• Benutzen Sie es nicht länger als empfohlen.
