HoMedics garantiza que sus productos no tendrán defectos de material ni de
mano de obra bajo condiciones de uso y servicio normales. Esta garantía se
extiende únicamente a consumidores y no a distribuidores.
Para obtener servicio para su producto HoMedics, envíe por correo el producto y su recibo de compra fechado (como comprobante de compra), con

HoMedics no autoriza a nadie, incluyendo, pero sin limitarse a, dis-
tribuidores, posteriores consumidores compradores del producto a un distribuidor, o compradores remotos, a obligar a HoMedics de forma alguna

La garantía de este producto no cubre daños causados por uso inadecuado o
abuso, accidente, conexión de accesorios no autorizados, alteración del producto, instalación inadecuada, reparaciones o modificaciones no autorizadas, uso inadecuado de la fuente de energía/electricidad, cortes de
energía, caída del producto, funcionamiento incorrecto o daño de una pieza
de funcionamiento debido al no cumplimiento del mantenimiento recomendado por el fabricante, daños durante el transporte, robo, descuido, vandalismo, condiciones climáticas, pérdida de uso en el período durante el cual
el producto está en una instalación de reparación o a la espera de piezas o
reparación, o cualquier otra condición, sin importar cual sea, que se
encuentre fuera del control de HoMedics.
Esta garantía es válida únicamente si el producto es comprado y operado en
el país en el cual se compró el producto. Un producto que requiera modificaciones o adaptación para habilitar su funcionamiento en cualquier país
que no sea aquél para el que fue diseñado, fabricado, aprobado y/o autorizado, o la reparación de productos dañados por estas modificaciones no están
cubiertos bajo esta garantía.

1. This scale operates on two lithium CR2032 batteries (pre-installed). There is a red
strip under the lithium batteries to prevent battery drain in shipping. Remove the red
strip before continuing with these instructions.
2. Some models have a static cling label on the lens to prevent scratching. Remove
before use.
3. Set the “LB/KG/ST” unit of measure switch located on the back of the scale for
pounds, kilograms or stones.

4. The scale needs to be initialized before first use or after battery replacement. Press
lightly on the scale platform. The display will turn on, then show “0.0” and
automatically turn off. The scale is now ready for use.

3. When your weight stabilizes, the display will flash, and then show your weight.
The weight reading will show for a few seconds. Then the display will return to “0.0”
and turn off to conserve the battery.
It is normal for your weight to fluctuate during the day and from one day to another.
Slight changes in your weight are normal. For best results:
1. Weigh yourself without clothing whenever possible. Clothes can vary in weight.
2. Weigh yourself at the same time of day under the same circumstances.
3. Allow for weight fluctuations due to food or drink in your system.

Your scale has two lithium batteries installed that will provide a long life of operation
when used in a typical household.

1. Use 2 x CR2032 lithium batteries only.
2. Open the battery cover on the back of the scale by pushing the tab in the direction
of the “open” arrow and lift up.

1. Place the scale on a flat, hard surface. Carpeted or uneven floors may
affect accuracy.
2. Step on the scale positioning your feet evenly on the scale platform.
Stand still while the scale measures your weight.

3. Insert a small screwdriver into the slot holding bracket and carefully pry up the
battery until it pops out.
4. Place the new batteries with the “+” sign up on an angle with one side under the
tabs and push down.
5. Close the battery cover. Be sure it clicks shut.
