and shorter life. Should this occur, discontinue use and allow
the unit to cool before operating.
• Never use this product directly on swollen or inflamed areas
or skin eruptions.
• DO NOT use this product as a substitute for medical attention.
• DO NOT use this product before bed. The massage has a stimulating effect
and can delay sleep.
• NEVER use this product while in bed.
• This product should NEVER be used by any individual suffering from any
physical ailment that would limit the user’s capacity to operate the controls or
who has sensory deficiencies in the lower half of their body.
• This unit should not be used by children or invalids without adult supervision.
• NEVER use this product in automobiles.
Instructions for Use
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit
in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the
plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do
not change the plug in any way.
1. Always make sure the unit is set to the “OFF” position before
inserting the plug into a 120 volt electrical outlet.
2. To turn the unit on, simply press the POWER button located on
the top of the handle. This will start the unit on the lowest setting.
To increase the intensity of the massage, continue to press the
POWER button until the desired intensity is reached. To turn the
unit off, continue to press the POWER button past the highest
intensity setting, which will reset the intensity cycle and power the
unit off (Fig. 1).
3. To turn the heat function on, the massager must be on. To activate the heat function,
press the HEAT button located above the intensity bars on the top of the handle
(Fig. 1). To cancel the heat function, press the HEAT button a second time.
NOTE: The heat function works best when the attachments are removed and the red
heat nodes are exposed.
NOTE: Do not use the heat continuously for more than 15 minutes. Do not use the
heat if you have sensitive skin, poor circulation, discolored areas, swelling, burned,
inflamed or where skin eruptions or sores are present. Heat should be pleasant and
comfortable. Should pain or discomfort result, discontinue use and consult your
physician.
4. Apply massager head lightly to the area you wish to massage.
5. Move the unit slowly, holding on the targeted area. Massage the area for a
short period of time and move to another area. Never massage the same spot
longer than 3 minutes. CAUTION - as stated in the “IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS” section of this manual, never use this appliance on or near eyes
or other highly sensitive areas.
6. Operation of longer than 15 minutes is not recommended and may cause
overheating.
7. When massage is completed, turn unit off, unplug the power supply, allow to cool
and store properly in a dry place.
To Change Attachments
Your massager comes equipped with four custom massage head attachments.
A. Dark Gray - Soft massage
B. Light Gray - Firm massage
To change to a different set, simply twist off (counterclockwise) the set that is on the
unit, press in and twist on (clockwise) the desired set.

TO STORE:
Unplug the appliance from the outlet, and allow it to cool before storing
in its box or a clean, dry place. Coil the cord and secure it with the
supplied fastener. Do not hang the unit by the powercord.
TO CLEAN:
Clean only with a soft, slightly damp sponge. Never allow water or any
other liquids to come into contact with the unit.
• Do not immerse in any liquid to clean.
• Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass /
furniture polish or paint thinner to clean.
• Do not attempt to repair the Percussion Action Massager.
There are no user serviceable parts. For service, call the Consumer
Relations telephone number listed in the Warranty Section.

HoMedics sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and
workmanship for a period of two years from the date of original purchase, except as noted below.
HoMedics warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and workmanship under
normal use and service. This warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to Retailers.
To obtain warranty service on your HoMedics product, contact a consumer relations representative
by telephone at 1-800-466-3342 for assistance. Please make sure to have the model number of
the product available.
HoMedics does not authorize anyone, including, but not limited to, Retailers, the subsequent consumer purchaser of the product from a Retailer or remote purchasers, to obligate HoMedics in any
way beyond the terms set forth herein. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or
abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper
installation; unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/power supply; loss
of power; dropped product; malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to provide
manufacturer’s recommended maintenance; transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism;
or environmental conditions; loss of use during the period the product is at a repair facility or
otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control
of HoMedics.
This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which
the product is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate
in any other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or

Instrucciones de uso
Este aparato tiene un enchufe polarizado (una patilla es más ancha que
la otra). Este enchufe cabe en una toma de corriente polarizada sólo
de una manera. Si el enchufe no cabe en la toma de corriente, invierta
su posición. Si aún no cabe, hable con un electricista calificado para
que instale una toma de corriente apropiada. No cambie el enchufe en
forma alguna.
1. Siempre cerciórese de que la unidad esté en la posición “off” antes
de insertar el enchufe en la toma de corriente eléctrica de 120
voltios.
2. Para encender la unidad, basta con pulsar
el botón de encendido situado en la parte
superior del mango. Esto iniciará la unidad
en la posición más baja. Para aumentar la
intensidad del masaje, continúe presionando el
botón de encendido hasta que la intensidad
deseada. Para apagar la unidad, continúe
presionando el botón de encendido más allá
de la configuración de mayor intensidad, que se
reiniciará el ciclo de intensidad y apagar la unidad
(Fig. 1).
3. Para activar la función de calor en el masaje debe estar encendido.
Para activar la función de calor, presione el botón de calor situado
encima de las barras de intensidad en la parte superior del mango (Fig.
1). Para cancelar la función de calor, pulse el botón HEAT por segunda
vez.
NOTA: La función de calor funciona mejor cuando los archivos adjuntos
se quitan y los nodos de calor rojas están expuestos.
NOTA: No use el calor por más de 15 minutos seguidos. No use el
calor si tiene una piel sensible, mala circulación, áreas descoloridas,
hinchazones, quemaduras, inflamaciones o si hay erupciones o llagas
de la piel. El calor debe ser placentero y confortable. Si provoca dolor o
incomodidad, deje de usarlo y consulte a su médico.
4. Aplique suavemente la cabeza masajeadora al área que usted desea
masajear.
5.
Mueva la unidad lentamente, manteniéndola sobre el área deseada.
Masajee el área por un breve período de tiempo y luego cambie a
otra área. Nunca masajee el mismo lugar por más de 3 minutos.
PRECAUCIÓN – como se indicó en las “INSTRUCCIONES DE

o cerca de los ojos u otras áreas de alta sensibilidad.
6. No se recomienda el uso por más de 15 minutos, ya que puede causar

eléctrico, déjela enfriar y guárdela apropiadamente en un lugar seco.

Su masajeador viene equipado con cuatro accesorios personalizados de

Para cambiar a un conjunto diferente, simplemente gire (en sentido
antihorario), el conjunto que se encuentra en la unidad y de prensa y giro en

Mantenimiento
PARA ALMACENAR:
Desenchufe el artefacto del tomacorriente, retraiga la parte extensible y
permita que se enfríe antes de guardarlo en su caja o en un lugar limpio y
seco. Enrolle el cable y sujételo con el sujetador suministrado. No cuelgue
la unidad del cable de suministro eléctrico
PARA LIMPIAR:
Limpie únicamente con una esponja suave, apenas humedecida. Nunca
