INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Insert USB cord into the port on the rechargeable battery pack (Fig. 1). The USB cord is located in the adapter pouch (Fig. 4) on the underside of the throw.
2. Touch the “power” button on the battery pack to turn on.
3. Place unit on your shoulders in desired position (Fig. 2).
4. To activate the massage action, press the power button on the control pad. Then press the “ ” button to activate the massage on the lowest setting. To increase intensity, press once for medium and a second time for high intensity. (Fig. 3)
5. To change massage program from steady to pulse, press the “ ”button once. Pressing “ ” button a second time will turn the unit off. (Fig. 3)
6. To activate the heat function, press the heat button on the control pad. To turn off the heat
function, simply press the heat button again. (Fig. 3) Note: Heat and vibration can be used independently.
The HoMedics cordless throw & cape can be used as a 50x60 throw, or it can be used as a wearable cape. Enjoy soothing heat and vibration massage with the snaps closed, and the product draped over your legs and body. Or, unsnap the closure and drape the unit over your shoulders for a wearable option. When worn as a cape, the pockets and control panel should be facing outward.
The battery pack should arrive with a full charge. If the battery is depleted, you may plug the provided adapter cord into the port on the battery pack, and plug the other end into a USB adapter or outlet. The charging light will illuminate to indicate that the battery pack is charging. The product will be fully charged after a minimum of 7 hours charge time. It is recommended that you leave the battery pack to charge overnight. With a full charge, the battery pack will provide power for a total of 5 hours.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
• Remove battery pack before washing.
• Do not dry clean or bleach.
• Presoak for 15 minutes in mild soap and cold water.
• Machine wash in mild soap and cold water on slow cycle for 2 minutes.
• Rinse in fresh, cold water.
• Spin dry. Stretch to original size.
• Do not put through a ringer.
DRYING INSTRUCTIONS:
• For best results, air dry over 2 parallel lines.
• DO NOT use clothes pins.
• Machine dry caution: Do not use commercial dryers or dryers at your local Laundromat.
• Preheat dryer on low temperature setting for 2 minutes.
• Add wrap and tumble dry for 10 minutes.
• Remove while still damp and stretch to original size.
• Air dry over a line or shower rail.
MAINTENANCE
TO CLEAN
Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning.
• DO NOT attempt to repair the massager. There are no user-serviceable parts. For service, contact the Consumer Relations telephone number listed in the warranty section.
• This product comes with a rechargeable lithium battery. This battery is not user serviceable. Please dispose in accordance with local, state, province, and country regulations.
TO STORE
Place wrap in its box or in a safe, cool, dry place. Avoid contact with sharp edges or pointed objects that might cut or puncture the fabric surface. To avoid breakage, do not wrap the power cord around the unit. Do not hang the unit by the power cord.
Note: There is a 30-minute auto shut-off on the unit for your safety.
