To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.

Instructions For Use

1. Carefully remove all contents from the packaging and inspect the product to make sure all components have been received. (Fig. 1)

2. Fill the provided measuring cup with distilled water to the max fill line (170mL/5.7oz) (Fig. 2). When filled to the maximum fill, steam will last approximately 17 minutes. After water runs out, appliance will automatically shut off for safety. If you choose to steam longer, add more distilled water and turn appliance on. DO NOT FILL PAST THE MAX FILL LINE.

3. Turn water chamber cap to the left and remove. Pour the distilled water into the distilled water chamber (Fig. 3). Push cap back into place. NOTE: DO NOT turn unit on before you put the water chamber cap back on. NEVER run unit with the cap off.

4. Press the on/off button to turn the unit on (Fig. 4). A red LED will glow to indicate the unit is on. Steam should form in approximately 3-4 minutes with the quick heat-up function.

5. Adjust the steam spout to the angle that is most comfortable. (Fig. 5).

6. Position your face in the path of the steam (Fig. 6). Relax and close your eyes. If you feel

any discomfort or excessive heat, move your face away from the spout to a comfortable distance.

7. When finished with your steam facial press the on/off button to turn the unit off. NOTE: If the unit runs out of distilled water the unit will automatically turn off to ensure your safety.

DANGER: ONLY FILL THE WATER CHAMBER WITH DISTILLED WATER. NEVER ADD OILS, SALTS, OR OTHER ADDITIVES TO THE WATER CHAMBER.

Maintenance

TO STORE

Place in a convenient, dry location or in box, out of children’s reach. Wrap the power cord around the cord storage located on the bottom of the unit (Fig 7). Do not hang the unit by the power cord.

TO CLEAN

Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet and let cool before cleaning.

• Empty excess water by tipping unit forward and pouring out the adjustable steam spout. NOTE: You cannot empty water through the distilled water chamber. Or, you may choose to run the appliance until all water is evaporated.

•Wipe the base with a clean damp cloth, then polish it lightly with a dry one. Never immerse the unit.

•Do not immerse the base in any liquid to clean.

• Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass/furniture polish or paint thinner to clean.

• Do not attempt to repair the unit. There are no user serviceable parts. For service, send the unit to the HoMedics address listed in the warranty section.

TWO YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

(Valid in USA only) HoMedics, Inc., guarantees this product free from defects in material

and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of original purchase, except as noted below.

This HoMedics product warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of HoMedics. This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the USA. A product that requires modification or adaptation to enable it to operate in any country other than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under warranty. HoMedics shall not be responsible for any type of incidental, consequential or special damages. All implied warranties, including but not limited to those implied warranties of fitness and merchantability, are limited in the total duration of two years from the original purchase date.

To obtain warranty service on your HoMedics product, either hand deliver or mail the unit and your dated sales receipt (as proof of purchase), postpaid, along with check or money order in the amount of $5.00 payable to HoMedics, Inc. to cover handling.

Upon receipt, HoMedics will repair or replace, as appropriate, your product and return it to you, postpaid. If it is appropriate to replace your product, HoMedics will replace the product with the same product or a comparable product at HoMedics’ option. Warranty is solely through HoMedics Service Center. Service of this product by anyone other than HoMedics Service Center voids warranty.

This warranty provides you with specific legal rights. You may have additional rights which may vary from state to state. Because of individual state regulations, some of the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.

Instrucciones de uso

1. Retire cuidadosamente todo el contenido del empaque y revise el producto para asegurarse de que ha recibido todas las partes. (Fig. 1).

2. Llene la taza de medida que se incluye con agua destilada hasta la línea de llenado máximo (170 mL/5.7 oz) (Fig. 2). Cuando está lleno al máximo, produce vapor por cerca de 17 minutos. Cuando se agota el agua, el artefacto se apaga solo, por seguridad.

Si desea más vapor, añada más agua destilada y vuelva a prender el artefacto. NO LLENE POR ENCIMA DE LA LÍNEA DE LLENADO MÁXIMO.

3. Gire a la izquierda la tapa del tanque de agua y retírela. Vierta el agua destilada en el tanque para el agua destilada (Fig. 3). Vuelva a colocar la tapa. ATENCIÓN: NO prenda la unidad sin haber vuelto a colocar la tapa del tanque para el agua. No haga funcionar NUNCA la unidad sin la tapa puesta.

4. Oprima el botón “on/off” para encender la unidad. (Fig. 4). Un LED rojo destellará para indicar que la unidad está prendida. Con la función de calefacción rápida, el vapor se forma en cerca de 3-4 minutos.

5. Ajuste el pico del vapor al ángulo que le queda más cómodo. (Fig. 5).

6. Coloque su rostro en la corriente de vapor (Fig. 6). Relájese y cierre los ojos. Si siente

incomodidad o calor excesivo, aleje su rostro del pico a una distancia confortable.

7. Cuando haya terminado de usar el vaporizador facial, oprima el botón on/off para apagar la unidad. ATENCIÓN: Si la unidad agota el agua destilada, se apaga automáticamente para su seguridad.

PELIGRO: LLENE EL TANQUE DE AGUA SÓLO CON AGUA DESTILAD NO AÑADA NUNCA EN EL TANQUE DE AGUA ACEITES, SALES, O CUALQUIER OTRO ADITIVO.

Mantenimiento

PARA GUARDAR

Guarde la unidad en un lugar conveniente y seco o en su caja, fuera del alcance de niños. Enrolle el cable en el soporte para guardar el cable, ubicado al fondo de la unidad (Fig. 7). No cuelgue la unidad del cable de corriente.

PARA LIMPIAR

Desconecte siempre el artefacto de la toma de corriente y déjelo enfriarse antes de limpiarlo.

• Desocupe el exceso de agua inclinando la unidad hacia adelante y vaciando por el pico de vapor ajustable. Atención: No es posible desocupar el agua a través del tanque de agua destilada. O puede dejar funcionando el artefacto hasta que toda el agua se evapore.

• Limpie la base con un trapo húmedo y limpio, luego bríllelo suavemente con uno seco. Nunca sumerja la unidad.

• No sumerja la base en ningún líquido para limpiarla.

• Nunca utilice limpiadores abrasivos, cepillos, gasolina, querosén, limpiador de vidrios o lustramuebles para limpiar.

• No intente reparar esta unidad. No hay piezas que necesiten servicio por parte del usuario. Por servicio, envíe la unidad a la dirección de HoMedics que se detalla en la sección de garantía.
