Keep the air openings free of lint, hair and the like.

oxygen is being administered.
• To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove the plug
from outlet.
• Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.

SPECIAL WARNINGS
• DO NOT attempt to plug or unplug unit while feet are in the water.
• If you have any concerns regarding your health, consult your doctor before
using your HoMedics facial sauna.
• We recommend using this unit for no longer than 15 minutes at a time.
Extensive use could cause the product to overheat. Should this occur,
discontinue use and allow the unit to cool before operating.
• If you experience pain in a muscle or joint for a prolonged period of time,
discontinue use and consult your doctor. Persistent pain could be a symptom
of a more serious condition.
• NEVER use any facial sauna on open wounds, discolored areas, or any area of
the body that is swollen, burned, inflamed or where skin eruptions or sores
are present.
• Use of this product should be pleasant and comfortable. Should pain or
discomfort result, discontinue use and consult your physician.
• Ensure that your hands are dry when operating the controls or removing
the plug.
• This product should NEVER be used by any individual suffering from any ailments that would limit or altogether inhibit the user’s capacity to feel or have
any sensation in the body part that the product is being used for.

SERVICING OF DOUBLE-INSULATED APPLIANCES:
In a double-insulated appliance, two systems of insulation are provided instead
of grounding. No grounding means is provided on a double-insulated appliance, nor should a means for grounding be added to the appliance. Servicing a
double-insulated appliance requires extreme care and knowledge of the system,
and should be done only by qualified service personnel. Replacement parts
for a double-insulated appliance must be identical to the parts they replace. A
double-insulated appliance is marked with the words “DOUBLE INSULATION” or
“DOUBLE INSULATED.” The symbol (square within a square) may also be marked
on the appliance.

Medical Precautions
• Consult your dermatologist if you have any questions regarding
use of this product.
• Do not use on any part of the body that is anesthetized.
Instructions For Use
1. Carefully remove all contents from the packaging and inspect the
product to make sure all components have been received. (Fig. 1)
2. Fill the provided measuring cup to the indicator level.(Fig. 2)
NOTE: There are two level indicators. For short usage time, choose
the lower level indicator. For longer usage, choose the higher level
indicator. DO NOT fill cup over the highest level fill line.
3. Pour the water into the water chamber. (Fig. 3)
NOTE: When the water chamber runs out of water, the unit will
automatically turn off.
4. The Facial Sauna includes variable steam control for customized
use. For greater steam flow, move the switch to the right. For less
steam flow, move the switch to the left. (Fig.4)
When using the facial mask attachment:
1. Place attachment on the steam chamber as shown.
Line up notches and turn counterclockwise to lock.
2. Plug into a 110V/120V AC household outlet. Press switch to turn
ON. LED light will glow to indicate that the Facial Sauna is on.

To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized
plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polar-
ized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to
install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.

Maintenance
TO STORE
Place facial sauna in a convenient, dry location, out of children’s reach.
Wrap the power cord around the cord storage located on the bottom of
the unit (Fig. 7). Do not hang the unit by the power cord.
TO CLEAN
Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet and let cool before
cleaning.
• Empty excess water and wipe dry the interior of the facial mask
and rim.
• Remove grate from base by gently prying it out with a screwdriver
or dull butter knife. Clean internal cavity with damp cloth. Snap back
into place making sure that the notch of the grate clips on to the
adjustable steam sliding button.
• Wipe the base with a clean, damp cloth, then polish it lightly with a
dry one. Never immerse the unit.
• Do not immerse the base in any liquid to clean.
• Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene,
glass/furniture polish or paint thinner to clean.
• Do not attempt to repair the unit. There are no user serviceable
parts. For service, send the unit to the HoMedics address listed in
the warranty section.
WARNING! All mineral residue must be removed completely after
each use. Use of the facial sauna without proper cleaning could result
in uncontrollable steam production. Lime residues must be removed by
commercial descaling agents, suitable for stainless steel, according to
the manufacturer’s instructions. DO NOT clean facial mask in dishwash-
er. It is not dishwasher proof. Hand wash only with a mild detergent.
3. Gently place your face as close to the rim of the facial mask
attachment as possible. If you feel any discomfort or excessive
heat, move your face away from the facial mask to a comfortable
distance or adjust the steam control (Fig. 6).

purchaser of the product from a Retailer or remote purchasers, to obligate HoMedics in any way beyond
the terms set forth herein. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the
attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation; unauthorized
repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/power supply; loss of power; dropped product; malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer’s recommended maintenance;
transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use during the period
the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other conditions whatsoever that
are beyond the control of HoMedics.
This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the product is
purchased. A product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate in any other country than
the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty.
THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. THERE
SHALL BE NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF

MANTENIMIENTO DE LOS APARATOS CON DOBLE
AISLAMIENTO:
En un aparato de doble aislamiento, dos sistemas de aislamiento en lugar
de puesta a tierra. No hay medios de puesta a tierra se proporciona en un apara-
to de doble aislamiento, ni un medio de conexión a tierra se añade al aparato. La
reparación de un aparato de doble aislamiento requiere extremo cuidado y conocimiento del sistema y debe ser realizado únicamente por personal cualificado.
Las piezas de repuesto para un aparato de doble aislamiento deben ser idénticas
a las piezas que reemplazan. Un aparato con doble aislamiento está marcado con
las palabras “DOBLE AISLAMIENTO” o “DOBLE AISLAMIENTO”. El símbolo (un
cuadrado dentro de un cuadrado) también esté marcado en el aparato.

Precauciones médicas
• Consulte a su dermatólogo si tiene alguna pregunta con respecto al uso
de este producto.
• No lo use en ninguna parte del cuerpo que esté anestesiada.
Instrucciones de uso
1. Retire cuidadosamente todo el contenido del empaque y revise el producto para asegurarse de que ha recibido todas las partes. (Fig. 1).
2. Llene la taza de medida que se incluye hasta el nivel del indicador (Fig. 2)
ATENCIÓN: Hay dos indicadores de nivel. Para uso por un tiempo lim-
itado, escoja el indicador de nivel más bajo. Para un uso más extendido,
escoja el indicador de nivel más alto. NO llene la taza por encima del nivel
más alto de la línea de llenado.
3. Vierta el agua en el tanque. (Fig. 3) ATENCIÓN: Cuando el tanque queda
sin agua, la unidad se apaga automáticamente.
4. El Sauna Facial viene con un control variable del vapor para ajustar el uso
a su gusto. Para un flujo más grande de vapor, mueva el interruptor hacia
la derecha. Para un flujo más pequeño de vapor, mueva el interruptor
hacia la izquierda. (Fig.4)
Cuando use el accesorio de la máscara facial:
1. Coloque la máscara sobre la cámara de vapor como se indica. Alinee las
ranuras y gire en sentido antihorario para fijar la máscara.
2. Enchúfela en una toma de 120V CA del hogar. Oprima el interruptor para
encender (ON). El LED se enciende para indicar que el Sauna Facial está
prendido. (Fig. 4).
Para reducir el riesgo de choque eléctrico, este artefacto tiene un enchufe
polarizado (una paleta es más ancha que la otra). Este enchufe puede
enchufarse en un tomacorriente polarizado sólo de una forma. Si éste no
entra totalmente en el tomacorriente, invierta la posición del enchufe. Si
aún no entra, póngase en contacto con un electricista calificado para que
instale un tomacorriente adecuado. No cambie el enchufe en modo alguno.

Mantenimiento
PARA GUARDAR
Guarde la sauna facial en un lugar conveniente, seco, fuera del alcance
de niños. Enrolle el cable en el soporte para guardar el cable, ubicado
al fondo de la unidad (Fig. 7). No cuelgue la unidad del cable de corriente.
PARA LIMPIAR
Desconecte siempre el artefacto de la toma de corriente y déjelo enfriarse antes de limpiarlo.
• Vacíe el exceso de agua y seque el interior de la mascara facial y el
borde.
• Retire la rejilla de la base palanqueándola suavemente con un destor-
nillador o un cuchillo romo para mantequilla. Limpie la cavidad interna
con un trapo húmedo. Presione la rejilla en su lugar asegurándose que
la ranura de la rejilla agarre el botón deslizable del ajuste de vapor.
• Limpie la base con un trapo húmedo y limpio, luego bríllelo suave-
mente con uno seco. Nunca sumerja la unidad.
• No sumerja la base en ningún líquido para limpiarla.
• Nunca utilice limpiadores abrasivos, cepillos, gasolina, querosén, lim-
piador de vidrios o lustramuebles para limpiar.
• No intente reparar esta unidad. No hay piezas que necesiten servicio
por parte del usuario. Por servicio, envíe la unidad a la dirección de
HoMedics que se detalla en la sección de garantía.
¡Advertencia! Es necesario retirar por completo todo depósito mineral después de cada uso. El uso de la sauna facial sin la limpieza
necesaria puede dar como resultado la producción de vapor fuera de
control. Los depósitos de calcio deben quitarse con agentes desincrustantes comerciales idóneos para el acero inoxidable, de acuerdo
a las instrucciones del fabricante. NO lave la máscara facial en el
lavavajillas. La sauna facial no es compatible con la lavavajillas. Lávela
solamente a mano con un detergente suave.
3. Coloque suavemente su rostro tan cerca como sea posible del borde del
accesorio de la máscara facial. Si siente incomodidad o calor excesivo,
aleje el rostro de la máscara facial a una distancia confortable o ajuste
el control del vapor (Fig. 6).
4. Cierre sus ojos y relájese.

Esta garantía es válida únicamente si el producto es comprado y operado en el país en el cual se compró el producto. Un producto que requiera modificaciones o adaptación para habilitar su funcionamiento
en cualquier país que no sea aquél para el que fue diseñado, fabricado, aprobado y/o autorizado, o la
reparación de productos dañados por estas modificaciones no están cubiertos bajo esta garantía.
LA GARANTÍA AQUÍ ESTABLECIDA SERÁ LA ÚNICA Y EXCLUSIVA GARANTÍA. NO HABRÁ NINGUNA
OTRA GARANTÍA EXPRESA NI IMPLÍCITA, INCLUYENDO NINGUNA GARANTÍA DE COMERCIALIZACIÓN
O APTITUD NI NINGUNA OTRA OBLIGACIÓN POR PARTE DE LA COMPAÑÍA CON RESPECTO A
PRODUCTOS CUBIERTOS POR ESTA GARANTÍA. HOMEDICS NO TENDRÁ RESPONSABILIDAD
ALGUNA POR NINGÚN DAÑO INCIDENTAL, CONSECUENTE NI ESPECIAL. BAJO NINGÚN CONCEPTO
ESTA GARANTÍA REQUERIRÁ MÁS QUE LA REPARACIÓN O CAMBIO DE ALGUNA PIEZA O PIEZAS
QUE SE HALLEN DEFECTUOSAS DENTRO DEL PERÍODO DE VIGENCIA DE ESTA GARANTÍA. NO
SE EFECTUARÁN REEMBOLSOS. SI NO HAY PIEZAS DE REPUESTO DISPONIBLES PARA LOS
MATERIALES DEFECTUOSOS, HOMEDICS SE RESERVA EL DERECHO DE REALIZAR SUSTITUCIONES
EN VEZ DE REPARAR O CAMBIAR.
Esta garantía no se extiende a la compra de productos abiertos, usados, reparados, embalados otra vez
y/o abiertos y vueltos a cerrar, incluyendo entre otras cosas la venta de dichos productos en sitios de
remate por Internet y/o la venta de dichos productos por revendedores o mayoristas. Todas y cada una
de las garantías cesarán y terminarán inmediatamente con respecto a cualquier producto o pieza del
mismo que estén reparados, cambiados, alterados o modificados sin el consentimiento previo explícito
y por escrito de HoMedics.
Esta garantía le proporciona derechos legales específicos. Es posible que usted tenga derechos adicionales que pueden variar de un estado a otro. Debido a las regulaciones de ciertos estados, es posible
que algunas de las limitaciones y exclusiones no se apliquen en su caso.
