Limited Liabilit y 1 Year Warranty
HoMedics sells it s products with the in tent that they are free of defe cts in manufactur e and workmanship for a
period of 1 year from th e date of original purchase, e xcept as noted below. HoMedi cs warrants that its pro ducts
will be free of defe cts in material and work manship under normal use an d service. This warran ty extends only
to consumers and does no t extend to Retailer s.
To obtain warranty ser vice on your HoMedics p roduct, mail the pro duct and your dated sales r eceipt (as proof
of purchase), p ostpaid, to the followin g address:

No COD’s will be accepted.
HoMedics does n ot authorize anyone, includ ing, but not limited to, Ret ailers, the subsequent co nsumer
purchaser of the produ ct from a Retailer or re mote purchasers, to obli gate HoMedics in any way beyo nd the
terms set forth her ein. This warranty do es not cover damage caused by misu se or abuse; accident ; the
attachment of any unau thorized accessory ; alteration to the produ ct; improper inst allation; unauthori zed
repairs or modif ications; improp er use of electrical /power supply; los s of power; dropped pro duct; malfunct ion
or damage of an operat ing part from failure to p rovide manufacture r's recommended mainten ance; transport ation damage; the ft; neglect ; vandalism; or enviro nmental conditions; l oss of use during the perio d the product
is at a repair facilit y or otherwise awaiting p arts or repair; or any ot her conditions whatsoe ver that are beyond
the control of HoMedi cs.
This warranty is ef fective only if the p roduct is purchased and o perated in the country i n which the product is
purchased. A produ ct that requires modif ications or adoption to e nable it to operate in any othe r country than
the country for whic h it was designed, manufa ctured, approved and /or authorized, or re pair of products
damaged by these mod ifications is not covere d under this warranty.
THE WARRANTY PROVI DED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AN D EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. THERE SHALL BE N O
OTHER WARRANTIES EX PRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY I MPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHA NTABILITY OR
FITNESS OR ANY OTHER OBLI GATION ON THE PART OF THE COMPANY WITH RESPEC T TO PRODUCTS COVERED
BY THIS WARRANTY. HOMEDIC S SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY I NCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL
DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHAL L THIS WARRANTY REQUIR E MORE THAN THE REPAIR OR REPLACEM ENT OF ANY
PART OR PARTS WHICH ARE FOUND TO BE DEFEC TIVE WITHIN THE EFFEC TIVE PERIOD OF THE WARRAN TY. NO
REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN . IF REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR DEFECT IVE MATERIALS ARE NOT AVAILABLE, HOMED ICS
RESERVES THE RIG HT TO MAKE PRODUCT SUBSTI TUTIONS IN LIEU OF REPAIR OR REPL ACEMENT.
This warranty do es not extend to the purchas e of opened, used, rep aired, repackaged an d/or resealed
products, incl uding but not limited to sal e of such products on Inte rnet auction sites and /or sales of such
products by surp lus or bulk resellers. Any an d all warranties or guarante es shall immediately ceas e and
terminate as to any produc ts or parts thereo f which are repaired, rep laced, altered, or modi fied, without the
prior express and w ritten consent of HoMe dics.
This warranty prov ides you with specif ic legal rights. You may have additi onal rights which may var y from state
to state. Because of in dividual state regulati ons, some of the above limit ations and exclusions may not ap ply to
you.
