• DO NOT operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not
working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water.
Return it to HoMedics Service Center for examination and repair.

• DO NOT place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or
sink. DO NOT place in or drop into water or other liquids.

• Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

• An appliance should NEVER be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from
outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, before filling
product with water, and before emptying water from product.

• DO NOT operate under a blanket or pillow.

• DO NOT carry this appliance by power cord or use cord as a handle.

• NEVER operate the appliance with the air openings blocked. Keep the air
openings free of lint, hair, etc.

• NEVER drop or insert any object into any opening.

• DO NOT use outdoors.

• DO NOT operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where
oxygen is being administered.

• To disconnect unit, turn all controls to the off position, then remove plug
from outlet.

• Ensure that your hands are dry when operating the controls or removing the plug.

• Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. DO
NOT use attachments or scented liquids not recommended by HoMedics.

• DO NOT reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.

• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade wider than the other). The plug will
fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper
outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.

• If the item is tipped, unplug immediately and let dry for 24-hours.

• DO NOT carry or move unit while it is plugged in.

• DO NOT carry unit while fully assembled and full of water.

• DO NOT allow the top of the unit to get wet. If top of unit should get wet, unplug
immediately and let dry for 24-hours before use.

• Place unit in a location where it will not be tipped over. Be aware of cord
to avoid tripping.

1. Remove top cover from bowl.

2. Fill the bowl with cool water until the water level
is between the Minimum and Maximum marks
shown on the outside of the bowl (Fig.1). We
recommend not using hard water to prevent
mineral build up.

NNOOTTEE:

When carrying the bowl to and from the sink, use the bowl’s
easy-carry handle to prevent spills
(Fig.2).

3. Add two (2) capfuls or 1 1/5 teaspoons of bre¯the solution directly into
the water.

NNOOTTEE:

Amount may vary based on personal preference. Using more than four
capfuls may shorten the life of your bre¯the unit.

•The water will turn milky white. This indicates the solution and water

are emulsifying.

4. Replace top cover on the bowl.

5. Place unit on a level waterproof surface at least six inches from wall and
furniture. Front of unit should face outward, toward the room.

6. Plug unit into 120v outlet.

•The blue ring around the power button is illuminated. This indicates
that the unit is plugged in, but not running.

•Press the button once: Unit begins running and water begins swirling;
blue LED light illuminates bowl.

•Press the button again: Unit runs without
illuminating bowl.

•Press the button once again: Unit stops running; blue ring
around the power button remains illuminated, but unit is not running.
