Two Year Limited Warranty

HoMedics, Inc., guarantees this product free from defects in material
and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase,
except as noted below.

This HoMedics product warranty does not cover damage caused by
misuse or abuse; accidents; the attachment of any unauthorized
accessory; alteration to the product; or any other conditions whatsoever
that are beyond the control of HoMedics. HoMedics shall not be
responsible for any type of incidental, consequential or special
damages. All implied warranties, including but not limited to those
implied warranties of fitness and merchantability, are limited in the
total duration of two years from the original purchase date.

To obtain warranty service on your Foot Pro Ultra product either hand
deliver or mail the unit and your dated sales receipt (as proof of
purchase), postpaid, along with a check or money order in the
amount of $5.00 payable to HoMedics, Inc., to cover handling.

Upon receipt, HoMedics will repair or replace, as appropriate, your
Foot Pro Ultra product and return it to you, postpaid. Warranty is solely
through HoMedics Service Center. Service of this product by anyone
other than HoMedics Service Center voids warranty.

This warranty provides you with specific legal rights. You may have
additional rights which may vary from state to state. Because of
individual state regulations, some of the above limitations and
exclusions may not apply to you.

When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should
always be followed, including the following:

DANGER - To reduce the risk of electric shock:

• Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet
immediately after using and before cleaning.

• Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water.
Unplug it immediately.

• Do not use while bathing or showering.

• Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be
pulled into a tub or sink. Do not place in or drop into
water or other liquid.

• An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged
in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before putting on
or taking off parts or attachments.

• Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used
by, on or near children, invalids or disabled persons.

• Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in
this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by
HoMedics; specifically any attachments not provided with
the unit.

• Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or
plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or
damaged, or dropped into water. Return it to HoMedics
Service Center for examination or repair.

• Never block the air openings of the appliance or place it on a
soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings

• Never use while sleeping or fall asleep while using
the massager.

• Never drop or insert any object into any opening.

• Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being
used or where oxygen is being administered.

• Do not operate under blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can
occur and cause fire, electrical shock or injury to persons.

• Do not carry this appliance by supply cord or use cord
as handle.

• To disconnect, depress all control buttons to the “OFF”
position, then remove plug from outlet.

• This appliance is designed for household use only.

• Use heated surfaces carefully. May cause serious burns.
Do not use on sensitive areas.

Caution – Please read all instructions
carefully before operating.

• If you have any concerns regarding your health, consult
your doctor before using the Foot Pro Ultra.

• Individuals with pacemakers should not use this product.

• If you experience pain in a muscle or joint for a prolonged
period of time, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
Persistent pain could be a symptom of a more serious
condition.

• Never use Foot Pro Ultra directly on open wounds or
discolored areas.

• Do not use for more than 15 minutes at a time. Excessive
use could lead the product to overheat. Should this occur,
discontinue use and allow the unit to cool before operating.

• If heat function is left on for a prolonged period of time, lightly
touch bulb surface to ensure that heat level is not great. If
too great, turn heat function off, allowing surface to cool.

• Never stand or bear heavy weight on the unit. Unit must be
used while seated only. Standing or bearing heavy weight
upon the unit will cause irreparable damage.

• Never try to open or stick objects into any part of the
Foot Pro Ultra. Damages of this nature are not covered under
the HoMedics warranty.

• The massage unit must be in the “OFF” position before
plugging into the wall outlet. (Massage button is not
depressed.)

• Use this appliance for its intended use as described in
this manual.

• This unit is not a toy. Children should not use it or play with it.

• Never use while sleeping.

• Do not place or drop into water or any other liquid.

Instructions for Use

To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a
polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug
will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit
fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change
the plug in any way.

1. It is highly recommended that Foot Pro Ultra is used with

socked feet. Do not use the unit with shoes.

2. Place Foot Pro Ultra on the floor in front of your chair or seat.

Make sure the unit is in the "OFF” position. Buttons are
located on the bottom of the unit.

any liquid.

3. Plug the unit into the power source (110-120V).

4. To activate massage action, press massage button. Control
intensity between low and high by depressing Lo/Hi button
located on left side of panel.

5. To activate infrared heat function, press red heat button
on right side of unit. Allow a few moments for the heating
action to warm up.

6. You can use the massage and heat functions together
or separately.

This appliance is intended for household use only.

NOTE: Because the heat can be used without massage, make sure
to turn the heat off after using the massager. Do not use the infrared
heat continuously for more than 20 minutes. Do not use the infrared
if you have sensitive skin, poor circulation, discolored areas,
swelling, burning, inflammation or where skin eruptions or sores are
present. Heat should be pleasant and comfortable. Should pain or
discomfort result, discontinue use and consult your physician.

Maintenance

Caution: All servicing of this unit must be performed by
authorized HoMedics service personnel only. This appliance
has no user serviceable parts.

To Clean Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before

cleaning. Clean only with a soft, damp cloth. Never allow water
or any other liquid to come into contact with the control switch.

• After cleaning, wipe surfaces with a dry cloth.

• Never use abrasives, detergents or cleaning agents.

• Periodically straighten cord if it becomes twisted.

To Store Unplug the appliance from the outlet and allow to cool.

• Store in its box or a clean, dry place.

• To avoid breakage, do not wrap the power cord around the unit.

• Wrap cord around the storage posts located on the bottom of
the unit.

• Do not hang the unit by the power cord.
