FEATURES - OPERATIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, burns, and
injury to persons, including the following:
1. Read all instructions before using the appliance.
2. To avoid fire or shock hazard, plug the appliance directly into a
120 V AC electrical outlet.
3. The unit is hot when in use. Use the fleece cover for bare or
stocking feet. CAUTION: Risk of burns. Bare or stocking feet
should not contact the unit’s bare plastic surface. Only shoes
should contact the bare plastic surface with the fleece removed.
4. Surface of unit is hot. Turn unit off and allow unit to cool to room
temperature before removing fleece cover for laundering or for
use without the fleece cover (use with shoes only).
5. WARNING: Use heated surfaces carefully. May cause burns. Do
not use on insensitive skin areas or in the presence of poor
circulation. Unattended use of heat by children or incapacitated
persons may be dangerous. Do not use on an infant, invalid,
sleeping or unconscious person.
6. Never use pins or other metallic fasteners with this unit.
7. DO NOT run cord under carpeting. DO NOT cover cord with throw
rugs, runners, or the like. Arrange cord away from traffic area
and where it will not be tripped over.
8. Keep dry. Do not operate in a wet or moist condition. This unit is
not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar
damp locations.
9. NEVER locate unit where it may fall or be pulled into a sink or
bathtub or other water container. Do not place in or drop into
water or other liquid.
10.Close supervision is necessary when any unit is used by, or near
children or invalids.
11.Always turn off the unit when not in use.
12.Always unplug unit before cleaning.
13.When unplugging, be sure to pull the plug and not the cord.
14.DO NOT carry the unit by the cord or use the cord as a handle.
15.Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
16.DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any openings as
this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the unit.
17.DO NOT operate unit with a damaged cord or plug, after the unit
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return
appliance to manufacturer for examination, electrical or
mechanical adjustment, or repair.
18.DO NOT use unit with torn or damaged fleece cover. Replace fleece
cover with replacement from manufacturer.
19.DO NOT use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids
are used or stored.
20.Use appliance only for intended use as described in this manual.
Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause
fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. The use of attachments
not recommended or sold by The Holmes Group may cause
hazards.
21.DO NOT use outdoors.
22.DO NOT place wet feet, shoes or other wet objects on the unit.
23.DO NOT use this unit to dry clothing, shoes or other objects.
24.To prevent a possible fire, DO NOT cover unit with materials that
can trap heat such as blankets, towels, coats, or other insulating
materials.
25.DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical
functions on this unit. Doing so will void your warranty. The inside
of the unit contains no user serviceable parts. All servicing should
be performed by qualified personnel only.
26.WARNING: DO NOT stand or sit on the unit. The unit is only
designed to have feet rest on it while user is seated.

SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS
Carefully remove your unit from the box. Please save the carton for
storage.
1. Select the height adjustment level.(See Figures 2 & 3)
2. Place unit on firm level surface.
3. "5" hook and loop fasteners.
CAUTION:Do not stand or sit on unit. Unit is not designed to support
the full body weight of an individual.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Unit can be used with fleece cover for bare or stocking feet, or
without fleece cover for use with shoes.
1. To turn the unit ON press the Toe Touch
®
rocker switch to the
ON position. The power light will remain lit during operation.
2. To select your desired heat setting, turn the small rocker switch
on the right hand side of the unit to either Low or High.
3. Place feet – with or without socks into the fleece toe pockets. We
do not recommend wearing shoes with the fleece toe pockets.
4. Please note that it may take up to 15 minutes for this unit to
reach its full operating temperature.
NOTE:Always turn unit off and allow unit to cool to room temperature
before removing fleece cover. Top surface of unit can be hot.
NOTE: Do not place wet feet, shoes or wet objects on unit.
NOTE: Unit may be used as a foot rest without heat. Simply
remove fleece toe pockets and place feet with or without shoes on
the plastic surface.
CLEANING/MAINTENANCE
During Season Care:
1. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
2. Clean the unit with a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap
solution.
3. NEVER use abrasive or flammable solvents to clean the unit.
4. After cleaning, be sure to completely dry the unit with a cloth
or towel.
After Season Care:
1. Store unit in a cool, dry location.
2. The manufacturer recommends that you store the unit in its
original carton.
Fleece Care:
1. Machine wash, cold water, with like colors. Line dry.
2. To order a new fleece write to the address on the back page of

TROUBLESHOOTING
If your unit fails to operate:
1. Make sure the unit is plugged into a working electrical outlet.
2. Make sure the unit has the power switch turned on.
3. If metal bar comes out of the height adjustment mechanism,
snap back into place.
THIS PRODUCT IS EQUIPPED WITH A POLARIZED AC
(Alternating Current) PLUG (a plug having one blade wider
than the other). This plug will fit into the power outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact qualified personnel to
install the proper outlet.
