SU27
Specifications:
Wingspan: 300 mm Length: 360 mm Takeoff Weight: 36 grams Motor: Brushless 1103 8000KV Servo: 2.0g x 2 pcs Receiver: DSM2 or Frsky, 2.4GHz (for Bind and Fly version) Battery: 7.4v(2S) 150 mah~180 mah 25C (Recommended)
Binding procedure:
Place the plane on level ground and connect the flight battery. When the red led on receiver flashes rapidly, select the bind on transmitter and confirm. Red led turning solid means binding successful. Disconnect the battery and re-connect; the tail surfaces will move up and down 4 times which means calibration is successful and the plane is ready to fly. If the flight battery is low on power, the binding may fail. Please replace with a fully charged flight battery pack. If the plane doesn’t work properly, please cycle the Su27 power and your transmitter power by turning on and off and repeat the above procedure once again. Attention: Ensure the receiver and the transmitter share the same protocol, if not binding will fail.

Radio setup:
Go to the menu and choose wing mode. Then choose Delta wing. (Consult your radio instruction manual for a proper channel setup)
Gyro Mode Setup:
Please use the 5th channel to switch between (advance/beginner/gyro off) modes, and the 6th channel to adjust gyro sensitivity. Therefore a 3-position switch for the 5th channel and a rotary switch for the 6th channel are best for this purpose.
Advance mode: Place the 5th channel switch in the upper position. Beginner mode: Place the 5th channel switch in the middle position. Gyro off: Place the 5th channel switch in the lower position. Consult your radio instruction manual for the proper programming setup.
Gyro Calibration. Work time: 1-2 mins:
The gyro on the DSM2 receiver board will automatically self-calibrate, the gyro on the Frsky receiver board needs to be manually calibrated. Here is the Frsky receiver gyro board calibration procedure: Disconnect the flight battery pack after successfully binding. Place the plane on a level ground and then tilt the nose up to about 10 degrees (as shown below). Reconnect the flight battery and flip the 5th channel switch up and down at least 3 times (within 30 seconds after reconnecting battery); the red LED on the receiver will flash and then turn solid, which indicates successful calibration.
Please repeat the above procedure if calibration fails.

Some preparations before your first flight. Work time: 3-5 mins
1. Power on the transmitter and install the flight battery into the slot in the fuselage as shown. (If the battery cannot be fixed properly, please use extra foam sheets to secure it in place.)
2. Switch the gyro mode to the gyro off position.
3. Ensure the control surfaces trim settings are all in the neutral position.
4. Then install elevons directly to the servo output rods. The elevons are pre-glued to the servo horns and they should be installed with the screws supplied in the kit. (make sure the elevons are level). Once that is done glue the fins as shown in the picture below.
5. Operate the control sticks on your transmitter and check that the control surfaces react correctly to the stick commands.

Center of Gravity
The C.G. position is 31mm from the wing’s leading edge.
Control throws setup.
For your first flight, adjust the elevon control throws to 80% of the full travel on your radio. After you have become accustomed to the planes flying characteristics you can adjust the travels accordingly to suit your style of flying.
Enjoy!
