COMPACT SPACE SAVING DESIGN: 16.7 cubic
foot capacity in a cabinet that fits into a space
60" wide x 30" deep x 351⁄2" high (on 6" legs or
casters). CUS60 - 24 pan and CUS60 - 18 pan
model are 46" high. CUS60 - 12 pan, CUS60 10 pan, and CUS60 - 8 pan models are 44

REAR MOUNTED CONDENSING UNIT: Provides
maximum storage capacity inside unit. Condensing
unit is serviceable from the back of the unit.
HOT GAS CONDENSATE REMOVAL: Eliminates
the requirement for a floor drain, and eliminates the
requirements for an electric condensate heater.
ZERO CLEARANCE: Zero clearance acceptable on
top, back, and sides of unit. Units require only space
underneath and to the front of the unit to breathe,
saving expensive and critical floor space.

SPECIFICATIONS
CONSTRUCTION: Exterior door, sides, and top are
22 gauge #430 stainless steel. Back and bottom
are galvanized steel. Interior liner is DuraFinish,
crimped construction, with radius bends. Door drum
is one piece ABS thermoplastic. Front frame is
extruded thermal plastic providing a superior thermal
break between the interior and exterior of the cabinet eliminating the need for anti-condensate heaters
on medium temperature units.
INSULATION: CFC free, nominal 2" thick, polyurethane foam, injected, expanded and bonded in
place, completely filling all cavities between the
inner and exterior surfaces of the cabinet and doors.
HARDWARE AND FITTING: Heavy duty horizontal
stainless steel door handle positioned on top of the
door. Two pivot hinges on the door, one with spring
action. Door stays open at 105 degrees, and self
closes at less than 90 degrees. Right door with right
hand hinging and left door with left hand hinging is
standard. Doors are field rehingeable.
The magnetic door gasket is of smooth high quality
vinyl and is easily replaceable without the use of
tools.

Two white powder coated shelves per section are
standard. Shelves are adjustable in
with a minimum spacing of 11⁄2" between shelves.
REFRIGERATION SYSTEM: Located in the rear of
the cabinet consisting of:
Motor Compressor: High starting torque, hermetically sealed and rated as follows:
• CU60 refrigerator: 1⁄4 H.P. and rated 1660 BTU
@ 90 degree ambient.
• CUF60 freezer: 1⁄2 H.P. and rated 1500 BTU
@ 90 degree ambient.
• CUS60 sandwich prep: 1⁄4 H.P. and rated 1660
BTU @ 90 degree ambient.
Heavy duty condenser, copper tube and aluminum
fin designed to match motor compressor rating.
Temperature control: Adjustable thermostat.
Refrigeration inside cabinet is fan circulated air
which is drawn through vents, passed through
cooling coils, and returned to cabinet and/or pan
cutout area.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS: Standard electrical characteristics are 120 volts, 60 hertz, single phase.
• CU60: Condensing unit is 1⁄4 H.P. and draws
440 watts at 6.1 amps. Maximum running amp
draw with condenser and fans is 480 watts at
6.7 amps.
• CUF60: Condensing unit is 1⁄2 H.P. and draws
970 watts at 10.7 amps. Maximum running amp
draw with condenser and fans is 1100 watts at
12.0 amps. Electric defrost timer and heater will
automatically defrost the unit approximately
every six hours.
• CUS60: Condensing unit is 1⁄4 H.P. and draws
440 watts at 5.8 amps. Maximum running amp
draw with condenser and fans is 520 watts at
7.0 amps.
Standard 3 wire ten foot cord and NEMA 5-15P right
angle plug on all units.
PLUMBING: No connection required. Condensate
water drains from the evaporator coil to a corrosion
resistant tray where evaporation is assisted by the
condenser fan and heat from the discharge line.
SANDWICH PREP UNIT: Standard pan cover
consists of a 95⁄8" shelf on the CUS60 - 24 pan
configuration and the CUS60 - 18 pan configuration,
and a 93⁄8" shelf on the CUS60 - 12, 10, and 8 pan
configuration with a clam shell cover. Standard
cutting board is eight inches deep for the 24 and 18
pan configuration, and twelve inches for the 12, 10,
and 8 pan configuration. The sandwich prep units
include the appropriate number of one-sixth size, 4"
deep plastic pans with stainless steel pan dividers.
