General safety Instructions
Please read the operating instructions carefully before using the appliance.
Please keep these instructions, the guarantee slip. The receipt and if possible the box with inner
packaging in a safe place!
This appliance is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use.
Always remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use or when you are
attaching accessories, cleaning it or in the event of a malfunction. Switch off the appliance. Do
no pull the cable, pull the plug.
Keep children away from the appliance to keep them safe from electric shocks. Make sure that
the appliance is out of the reach of children. Ensure that the cable does not hang down.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Check the cable and the appliance regularly for damage. Do not switch on the appliance if it is
damaged.
Do not repair the appliance yourself, but consult an authorized professional instead.
Keep the appliance and the cable away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture, sharp edges and
such like.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised if it is use! Always switch off the appliance if you are not
using it, even if only for a brief period.
Only use original parts.
Never use the appliance outside.
Never submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not allow the appliance to come
into contact with water or other liquids. Do not use the appliance with wet or moist hands.
Remove the plug from the socket immediately if it is moist or wet. Do not touch the water!
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a
similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard;
The bread may burn, therefore do not use the toaster near or below combustible material, such
as curtains.
The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical.
Sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
Only use the appliance for its intended purpose
After you finish using this product, please recycle the product for disposal in accordance with
local regulations.
Special Safety Instructions for this Appliance
Only use the appliance if supervised (very dry bread may catch fire if toasted).
The metal parts heat up! Danger of burns!
Do not insert any forks, knives or such like in the toasting slot.
Do not place the appliance anywhere near inflammable objects (e.g. curtains, wood, etc.)!
Operation
1. Only connect the appliance to a correctly installed safety plug (220-240V 50Hz/60Hz).
2. Turn the selector switch clockwise to set the toasting level from the lightest stage 1 to the darkest
stage 6. If in any doubt, start with the lower setting (the black mark on the selector switch shows you
the setting).
3. Insert sliced bread into the toasting slot and push down the lever until it locks.
4. The appliance starts toasting. The appliance switches off immediately once the set degree of
toasting has been reached. The toast then pops up automatically.
If you wish to use the special functions, push the button Cancel: To stop toasting prematurely
Cleaning
Before cleaning, remove the plug from the socket and allow the appliance to cool down.
Use a moderately damp cloth to clean the outside of the appliance.
Do not use any aggressive or scrubbing detergents.
Grasp the crumb shaft by the loop and pull it out, remove the bread residue and push the shaft back
in.
This appliance conforms to the relevant CE guidelines and has been constructed on the basis of the
latest technical safety regulations.

HOW TO USE
1. Plug into an earthed power socket.
For the first use, it is recommended that the toaster be operated without bread to burn off the dust
accumulated on the new element that will disperse giving off an unpleasant smell; when doing this it
is recommended that the browning control be set to the medium setting.
2. Place bread into slots - use slices of equal size, thickness and freshness. Avoid torn and broken
slices that may get lodged in the toasting wells.
3. Set browning control to suit the required degree of brownness, from No.1 to No. 6 on the browning
control knob. (No.1- lightest, No.6 darkest). Different breads will require different settings. The higher
the number (1-6) the longer the toasting cycle and the darker the toast colour.
4. Press the carriage handle down fully to the latched position.
NOTE: The carriage will not latch down unless the power is switched ON.
5. When the toasting cycle is complete, the carriage will rise and the toaster will switch off.
NOTE: The toasting cycle can be interrupted at any time by depressing the Cancel button adjacent
to the browning control knob.

Instructions générales de sécurité
Veuillez lire attentivement les instructions de fonctionnement avant d'utiliser l'appareil.
Gardez ces instructions, le bulletin de garantie, le ticket de caisse, et si possible la boîte avec
emballage intérieur dans un endroit sûr!
Cet appareil est exclusivement destiné à un usage privé et non commercial.
Toujours retirer la fiche de la prise lorsque l'appareil n'est pas utilisé ou quand vous fixez ou
nettoyez des accessoires ou en cas de dysfonctionnement. Éteignez l'appareil. Ne pas tirer sur
le câble, retirer la fiche.
Gardez les enfants éloignés de l'appareil pour assurer leur sécurité contre les chocs électriques.
Assurez-vous que l'appareil est hors de portée des enfants. Assurez-vous que le câble ne
pende pas.
Les enfants doivent être surveillés pour s'assurer qu'ils ne jouent pas avec l'appareil.
Vérifiez le câble et l'appareil régulièrement pour les dommages. N'allumé pas l'appareil si il est
endommagé.

Le pain peut brûler, par conséquent, ne pas utiliser le grille-pain à proximité ou sous des
matériaux combustibles, tels que des rideaux.
Les appareils ne sont pas destinés à être actionnés au moyen d'une minuterie externe ou un
système de commande à distance séparés.
Cet appareil n'est pas destiné à être utilisé par des personnes (y compris les enfants) ayant un

Consignes de sécurité spéciales pour cet appareil
Surveillez l'appareil pendant son utilisation (le pain très sec peut prendre feu lorsqu´il est grillé).
Le métal des pièces chauffe! Risque de brûlures!
Ne pas insérer de fourchettes, couteaux ou autres semblables dans la fente du grille-pain.
Ne pas placer l'appareil n'importe où, à proximité d'objets inflammables (comme rideaux, bois, etc.)!
Utilisation
1. Branchez l'appareil à une prise de sécurité correctement installée (220-240V 50Hz/60Hz).
2. Tournez le sélecteur vers la droite pour régler le niveau de grillage léger 1 au niveau 6 le plus
sombre. En cas de doute, commencez par le réglage inférieur (la marque noire sur le sélecteur vous
indique le réglage).
3. Insérez le pain en tranches dans la fente de grillage et poussez le levier vers le bas jusqu'à ce qu'il
se verrouille.
4. L'appareil démarre le grillage. L'appareil s´éteint dès que le degré de grillage a été atteint. Le toast
apparaîtra ensuite automatiquement.
Si vous souhaitez utiliser les fonctions spéciales, appuyez sur le bouton Annuler: Pour arrêter le grillage
prématurément
Nettoyage
Avant le nettoyage, retirer la fiche de la prise et laisser l'appareil refroidir.
Utilisez un chiffon légèrement humide pour nettoyer l'extérieur de l'appareil.
Ne pas utiliser de détergents agressifs ou récurant.
Saisissez le récupérateur de miettes par la boucle et tirez, enlever le résidu de pain et remettre le
récupérateur de miettes dans l'appareil.
Cet appareil est conforme aux directives CE en vigueur et a été construit sur la base des dernières
règles techniques de sécurité.

COMMENT UTILISER LE GRILLE PAIN
1. Branchez dans une prise de courant mise à la terre.
Pour la première utilisation, il est recommandé que le grille-pain fonctionne sans pain pour brûler la
poussière accumulée sur le nouvel élément qui se dispersera dégageant une odeur désagréable;
lors de cette opération, il est recommandé de régler la commande de brunissement au niveau
moyen.
2. Placez le pain dans les fentes - utiliser des tranches de taille, épaisseur et fraîcheur égales. Évitez
les tranches déchirées et brisées qui peuvent se loger dans les composants de grillage.
3. Réglez le contrôle de brunissement pour convenir au degré de brunissement nécessaire, du no.1 au
no.6 sur le bouton de contrôle de brunissement. (No.1 plus léger, No.6 plus sombre). Différents
pains nécessiteront différents paramètres. Plus le nombre est élevé (1-6) plus le cycle de grillage
sera long et plus sombre sera la couleur du toast.
4. Appuyez sur la poignée du chariot à fond vers la position verrouillée.
NOTE: Le chariot ne sera pas bloqué vers le bas, sauf si l'alimentation est en marche.
5. Lorsque le cycle de grillage est terminé, le charriot se relève et le grille-pain s'éteint.
Bouton Annuler
NOTE: Le cycle de grillage peut être interrompu à tout moment en appuyant sur le bouton Annuler
adjacent au bouton de contrôle de brunissement.
