Signal Booster
To avoid environmental and health problems due to hazardous
substances in electrical and electronic goods going into landfill,
items marked with a crossed out wheeled bin should not be placed
into your household rubbish bin. Instead, when they are unable
to be re-used, they should be recycled. Your local authority and
www.recycle-more.co.uk will be able to advise you on the location
of the nearest recycling centre that is authorised to accept this
type of waste. Please recycle responsibly.

Your Signal Booster
Your signal booster will help your other Hive devices talk to each other,
by extending the ra nge of your system .
Getting started:

Choose a location
Your signal booster should b e
plugged into a mains p ower socket
about half way bet ween your Hive
hub and the device that h as low
signal strength or can’t connect .

Plug your signa l booster in and
switch the power s ocket on
The light on the front will begin
to flash amber whilst the signal
booster searches for your hub.

Add your signa l booster
You can do this using your Hive app or t he online dashboard.
Using the online dashboard:
• Log into your account at hivehome.com
• Under Settings select Install Device.
Your hub will then start looking for your signal b ooster.
U sing the Hive app:
• Open the Hive app on yo ur phone, you may be asked to log-in.
• Tap the Menu button and then Install Device. Your hub will
then start looking for your signal b ooster.
Once your signal b ooster appears on the screen, you can name it
and press Save to complete set up.
Usage
Your signal booste r is designed for UK househo ld wiring, and for indoo r
use on ly.
Maintenance
Disconnec t your signal booster befo re cleaning and keep it away from
water and other li quids at all times. The signa l booster does not contain any
serviceab le parts so do not attempt to op en it.
Remember: Once your signal bo oster is installed, please lea ve the power to it
switched on, i ncluding the extension c able if you’re using one.
